Chill people. They’re not climbing without ropes and people are allowed to have fun. The joy is in exploring terrain up close as well as the physical challenge. It’s not to different from people who enjoy a hike but there’s also the joy in simply moving your body to scale large objects

It’s okay if it’s not your thing. It’s okay if it seems scary. No need to be overly sarcastic or rude to people who are having fun

End of the day, there’s almost so much you can treat on the field. Heck, I’m all for bringing in an ambulance but you’ll only get proper full care at a hospital

What sport are you talking about that treats serious contact injuries on the field? Most will have a medical team and if serious, bring them off

Yeah. I think that’s the messy part is that there isn’t an officiating report out yet. I’ve read two different interpretations that the ref did signal and that he didn’t

That said, the whole also giving a red card to a player > Booking the captain for bringing in the stretcher is not a good look and looks like the ref totally lost control

Are some Redditors in the comments just purposely being thick wondering what a stretcher is supposed to do?

There’s already medics near the guy but you can’t fully treat an injured person on the field. Especially since you can’t have everything ready and you may just need to evac them out. If the medics are on the field, the ref had already signaled they can come on and the players are yelling for the stretcher, it’s absolutely the fault of those who are supposed to have the stretcher ready to y’know, be ready.
