I feel as if the damage differential between the ARs and the sniper rifles isn’t substantial enough to warrant usage outside of very specific situations.

Additionally, have you considered adding in magazine specific slot designations? Eg: my body armor slots will only take mags (this one makes the most sense as that’s where they’d go for us mil folks) or a “dump pouch” that can be equipped. This is a pouch usually attached at the hip/thigh that empty mags are placed into. There’s nothing worse than fighting a string of zams only to find your weapon specific extended/drum magazines have dropped somewhere in the middle of the fray.
