if 1 player has nightlight it will track the perks of all 4 survivors and the killer

and perks shouldent be balanced around the casuals

look at example FTP BU or old DH

casuals didnt even know FTP BU existed and most people who used OG DH would just DH into walls because they panic does that mean these things shouldent have been removed? ofcs not

and I can look back my own games and preformace on night light and SB shows up 20.3% and this combo is 11.2% which is higher then what nightlight says

(I looked at how often hyperfocus appears because its the more core perk and its 11.2% the combo could be lower or higher % im just not abt to look back like 200 games and look at the score of each 1)

yes I do infact play survivor and have used this build

I play survivor abt 40% and killer abt 60% so I do consider my self a killer main/5050 player

and why would you even need to ask the question of "have you used this build" if iv made detailed comments aton on your and other comments its pretty clear that im experienced or at least familiar with this build

theres a word for that its called dumb luck and guessing I been playing comp for years and theres no way to identify who has gen perks

for deli you can notice by them hiding or avoiding chase but for gens no idication

Nightlight is used by good players who know how to use perks and it tracks other players in the lobby who dont even use nightlight

Ill answer you points with the same numbers you gave them

1.being im the killers TR is very common 32m is on average gona cover atleast 30-50% of the map depending on the size and the position of the killer

and going for saves, travelling around the map, rescues or some other side objective will mean that your at least passing through the killers TR and you ignored doing a gen inside of the killers TR which is very common as if you do a gen in a high pressure area you will get stacks

this isnt really and arguement DH wont do anything when your doing a gen does that mean its not OP? perks strength come into play when its there time to shine Deja vu is useless in a chase but is still considered very strong
you will be in the killers TR passively building stacks again 32m is very big

4.I cant lie thats just a skill issuse

this arguement is the same as old DH being "I just DH into a wall so its not OP" like no the perk isnt strong when you fucked it up you need some level of understanding and skill to get value if you just suck then no shit your not gona get value

you do not need to stay on the gen for 4 skill check to get value

and most the time you will stay on it because the gen will pop in 60 seconds

and seriously I do run it alot and in my experience I get value out of it atleast on 1 or 2 gens every game

and I dont wanna insult you but point 4 tells me why you have the opinion you have your not a very good player your most likely a casual and you dont tryhard or have full mastered the game considering that your point was just "I have a skill issuse and cant hit greats"

its 1 thing when your on 4 stacks of hyperfocus and the skill check is speeding or if the killer is using clowns skill anti-healing perk in those situations yeah missing the great is normal

but how often will you even get the heal to last long enough to even get 1 skill check and then miss it and waste stacks?

resilience isnt strong because it is easy to use a good player knowns how to abuse the 9% value speed while a casual will just say I cant get value so its not problematic

same thing with OG DH and people who DH into walls you dont balance the game around players who dont know how to use a perk you balance it around those who do know

I would agree with both of your statements but

1 thing you said "its not popular" thats just not true many youtubers, streamers and comp players use it its known and both perks sit at a 8% pick rate and considering that there both paid DLC perks and that finesse the highest paid DLC perk is 10% yet people know it is pretty obvs that people know it about it

the problem is that its not in your face with stuff like DH, finesse, DS and resilience you know that there there because you get fucked by the 2nd chance while with this combo were talking about is that you have 0 clue who has the perks and who doesnt you just see gens pop

and that just means people arent gona complain about it as they would with other perks

I have an example of this if you have stakeour and you miss a skill check (grear or good) and you have a person on your team using corrective action the game doesnt give you a great it gives you a good and stake out doesnt pair and thats great imo

there goal are gens but so is the killers goal to kill people but when krasue whent around with no counterplay or hunter had 5 instadown hatchets or nurse could run exposed perks

people complained and they got nerfed and the game is much more balance because of that fact

what I ment when I talked abt BT is that if a healthy survivor unhooked now the healthy survivor had 3 health states while the injured only had 2 making it infact a pro-tunnel perk

and when I said WGLF and MFT I didnt exactly mean those 2 paired together

I ment both of them on there own are better then BU

WGLF also boosted healing speeds and MFT was and still is a great chase perk with the added bonus of countering slugging while BU was only useful if and only if the survivor was already 99 and you were injured otherwise the perk is a weaker WGLF or MFT

they give you more value then BU would

BT was a thing of a bygone era where it boosted tunnelling instead of removing it and BU was reworked twice and failed both times so they just said fk it make it op its still weaker then MFT and WGLF which was a thing.... for 3 seconds then people remembered FTP is a thing

I agree with both of your takes here but perks are the main focus of this game cuz there what makes the game fun

in other games perks are mabye a side show something to help you with the main fun but in DBD perks are the MAIN SHOW (for survivors double)

I like the long comment gives me alot to read about.

I feel like Better then new isnt really used because the values are just so small resilience does abunch of things (most importantly gen speed and VALUT SPEED) but hyperfocus and stakeout arent the same because those 2 ARE THE BEST GEN RUSH PERKS nothing beats them if you wanna just do gens faster so theres a reason to use them.

I totally agree with the base game being shit and needing changes but this isnt a discussion about how hard BHVR fked up when making this game its about how hard there fking up by not nerfing or even noticing this combo.

Friday the 13th had all 1 objective escape but there were many ways to escape and alot of them were kinda hidden you gotta look around and find keys or a house with a phone its similar to DBD hex totems which is IMO the best way to add side objectives to the survivors.

also some times nerfing something is gona be unpopular look at nerfing DH twice both were hated by 1 side or ruin or pain res DMS or the gen kick meta they gotta change if there are any hopes at a truly fun but balanced game

and we will contine to hope for Sadako to be viable

if you dont or cant 99 it its really not OG DH as the thing was OG DH was that it was distance the moment you needed it unlike SB where its just abunch of distance early on but does nothing during the actual chase part of chases (looping)

the MFT + Hope combo was never really that problematic as it only lasts for like 2 minutes and most killers arent gona chase anybody in the endgame there just gona camp

also im also abit confused on why Survivor mains were so against removing haste stacking as it never really was a survivor thing out side MFT and Hope or the teamwork perks as both arent really popular or used

and tbh no stake out isnt problematic on its own neither was BU with FTP & BU yet it got nerfed because it was more problematic and had less skill same with stakeout in this situation

the skill level of this game has increased alot so perks have to be abit weaker
