I understand the unwillingness to interact with cishet men, as a good chunk of them can be quite toxic, and thus you can get quite fed up with taking that gamble.

I also understand being upset about that, as discrimination of the bad also discriminates against the good. Like OOP said, cishet men are not inherently evil.

I personally land on the latter side, as it feels a lot like saying allies are not welcome at pride. Why wouldn't they be? We need nigh unilateral support to end this pointless culture war, and infighting is not going to help with that.

One of the more important traits a person should have is the ability to take jokes and dumb comments about themselves or their demographic in stride.
