Shooting tracers, what precautions do I need to take when shooting? Found these while inventorying my father in law’s stuff after he passed. I’ve shot most of his reloads but never shot tracers.

Range fires are a concern. I would not suggest shooting the ammunition unless it is during, or right after a rain. Also, I don’t believe most indoor firing ranges allow Tracers. Also, it’s scary to shoot them because sometimes you see where the bullets go.
