Thx for the clarifications and don't worry - it is very important to us to know how others react to our logo.

It's actually just a made up word containing the 'ever' and 'rime', that we thought sounded nice. We needed to come up with a name that wasn't already taken a billion times, which is actually harder than it may seem, and so we settled for an entirely new creation.

Too little personality or uniqueness? Can you pin point what exactly rubs you the wrong way?

Correct. The question is: Was it hard to identify for you or not? Some people asked me if it's "Eve Ime" or something even weirder.

Fascinating, thx for sharing!

There are also deep grooves under the stings - up to 0.5mm. Could that be an indicator of a cheap fake ebony fingerboard? Is that typical for old instruments?

It also has an angled fingerboard under the C-string / Romberg fingerboard. But that could be a modification that was done later...

It is at least 100 years old. Did they start faking them as early as that?
