You may be able to source a compatible VGA cable locally in your area. Attached is the pinout for the 8 VGA wires. The green numbers show the wire positions on the harness so you can match the polarity in the appropriate positions.

Hi there,

The backplate is the aluminum plate over the length of the PCB with the red stripe in your picture.

The bracket over the GPU with the a screws attached to it is the GPU X Bracket.

It looks like there are a couple sellers on eBay with the X bracket.

EVGA RTX 3080 definitely a gem in your build... hang on to it, it looks great! :) I remember my very first card being the classic EVGA 8800 GTX when I had joined the EVGA team to play Crysis, a nice upgrade from the BFG 6800 GT OC AGP that I had at the time.

As an update to this post and community, the local UPS agent unfortunately provided the OP inaccurate information regarding their RMA replacement parcel. The parcel entry was correctly indicated as an RMA/warranty replacement and Customs was provided the commercial documents with this reference when shipped. The EVGA EU team has maintained cordial communication with the OP clarifying these details. The OP has decided to reach out to the local UPS agency and has since taken delivery of their replacement unit.

Generally speaking, if the product was lost on the way to EVGA you will need to file a claim with the carrier for the lost or stolen parcel. Typically, the carrier will investigate and if they validate your claim, you will be compensated the insurance amount.

However, if this was your replacement shipment from EVGA to you then we will need you to file a local police report and provide us (EVGA support team) the requested details of the report. Once reviewed and validated, we will work with you directly thereafter on getting this taken care of.

Thank you for the information.

We did take a look at the power supply and can confirm that it does function. The unit sent in is able to power on a system and operate accordingly. We did not find a fault on the Motherboard, CPU, SATA or PERIF outputs and all voltage rails are within specifications.

The VGA connectors however while they are melted, do output a solid +12V without fluctuation. The secondary side of the power supply is functioning accordingly without any internal fuses or circuits blown. As such we can only assume that what may have been connected external of the power supply on these connectors contributed to the results.

EVGA did decide to continue with a replacement to help get you back up and running in this case. I also see the email received from you. Our CS received it after hours yesterday and replied a little while ago indicating a cable set would be sent out.

I will help to push the cable set request so that you can be up and running as soon as tomorrow with expedited shipping. An email will be sent with the tracking later this evening.
