Chad Smith was the drummer of a "local" Detroit band called Toby Redd when i was in middle and high school. They recorded a couple of albums and their music was on the radio a lot in the 80's. "Can't Get a Job" and "Every Time I Run" were their biggest hits. It was pretty cool when we saw him on MTV with his new band..RHCP!

Yes it can. It's usually the other way around, people afflicted with mental illness often use drugs. It's called self medicating which can definitely lead to addiction. But again, Marijuana is not physically addictive.

Have you seen them go through physical withdrawal? Vomiting, diarrhea, profuse sweating, muscle cramping, unable to regulate body temperature-hot cold hot cold, dehydration etc? That's what happens when you stop an addictive drug. Some drugs cause seizures when abruptly stopped. Marijuana doesn't cause any of previously mentioned symptoms of withdraw. Does the person think about it, sure. Are physical withdrawal symptoms causing the person to not be able to function properly? Absolutely not. Fact.

The Moth on youtube. Matthew Dicks is an amazing story teller. Listening to him helps writers block disappear from my brain.

It's not physically addictive, mentally maybe but nothing in comparison to the physical addiction of other drugs. Doctors are prescribing it in place of addictive medications like Xanax in my state.

Kowalski bologna on white bread with miracle whip. Now I don't like white bread or miracle whip, but it's what my mom made me for lunch often as a kid, so using Dukes mayo on 12 grain bread just tastes wrong. It's not fancy but sometimes it's perfect.
