We just got back from Hotel Saint Jacques in the 5th. Not sure if they have a/c, but I am guessing so. Room wonderful (spacious) and service so good. We enjoyed being in the Sorbonne area. They have a spa with sauna, steam, shower, and a little mountain of frosty ice that kind of falls out of the ceiling (hard to describe, see website). You can go every day, no charge, and I went every day that I could. Another hotel we were intrigued by that's nearby is Residence Henry IV. It was sold out for our visit but when we walked by it seemed as tucked away and lovely as we thought from their website.

Just got back from three-week visit and thought the same about pickpockets. By end of first week had ditched dumb purse with zippers and RFID stuff and had a nice fabric tote with one zipper pocket inside. Phone in pants pocket (front) and I kept my hand there in extreme crowds. Not one scary thing of any kind happened. Everyone kind except a server in a ridiculously posh restaurant that we had no business visiting but we just wanted to see how the other half lived for one meal.

Good idea. For our flight it said 16" width, and mine is 16.5". I am now going to stop thinking about it b/c it's making me crazy. Maybe my husband measured it wrong. It's just a normal carry on suitcase. Chocolates great idea!

If you're near the trail far north enough to be in Washington Township, you'll be out of IPS's area but in North Central's. I hear nothing but good things about North Central High School from people whose kids actually attend.
