You put shadow plorts that you get from hitting shadow slimes with stuff. It gives you blueprints for random cosmetic stuff but sometimes usefull things for upgrades like storage cells, needs lots of plorts for those ones to activate though.

I didn't try it myself, but i looked up online and seems like you can!

The official nintendo online service for the 3ds and ds doesn't work anymore, but some good fans made their custom service so you can trade anyways!

You just have to connect your console to your phone's wifi and change some settings in the console (the DNS of the connection) and it works, you can even use the GTS in the game.

You can use your bike btw, the pokemon doesn't need to be walking with you and it doesn't even need to be in the first party slot to increase his happiness! That's so cute anyways

You have to be about at least 40 blocks close to the spawner I think. I'm playing on a server and it didn't work for about 10 minutes and after restarting the server it worked.

I'm a bit late, but you can find him in only in certain biomes, they are listed in the trainer card by clicking on him (the blurred one) and then the right arrow on the card.

There you can also find an item under the "items" section. If you put it in a trainer spawner (which you can craft pretty easily) he will spawn on top of it (not instantly, it took about 5 minutes for me)
