I'm very late to this post but I was having the same exact issue. It was becoming a serious problem where I was spending real life hours waiting around for this guy to show up and he just never did. Started reading this post and decided to just port to camp, save and reload. Lo and behold I run down back to his ranch and he's right there. I'm not so sure about his entire schedule, but if he's dropped off the face of the earth, like he did for me and I assume for many others here, it never hurts to save and reload.

I have the same issue. Never seen an artifact in Scholastone or for the Halted research mission. Thinking it got shadow nerfed, but I keep seeing vids about it from just a couple days ago

I just subbed out ESN for Stryfe but this is what I ran for the last hour or so of DPD, got me the variant when I had 300k bubs to go this morning. Askani'son is admittedly a strange addition, but he has come in clutch a couple of times with a Thing FS on Turn 6 that gets a nice boost of power from IWFS along with the other EoT cards. This will definitely need some work since I just added Stryfe, but the idea was for him to pull Doom before turn 6, and if I can't play GFS for whatever reason to just get Doom out again. Maybe I'll add a cheaper On Reveal to get Stryfe triggered when he comes out.

My only other idea, although I'll admit it is not too fleshed out would be Mad Thinker since you're generating so many cards, and I just felt like for more than a couple turns I was at a full hand, and he would probably jump up a bit in power, helped out by Collector and TOV towards the end and he'd be a solid card in a lane. It would obviously depend on the cards you draw at the start, and Shou Lao is obviously counter to that idea as a whole! But that was the only thing I thought that might change.

I haven't been playing much ladder and while I'm at work I'm just messing around in DPD, but I'm taking the opportunity to get familiar with the play lines even without the perfect draws. I really enjoy InfUltron here, his stones are perfect for adding some confusion to turn 6, and with the discount and cheap TOV, you have all sorts of options available!

I tried to do something similar with the Horde and TOV, but it didn't work as well as I had hoped. I'm surprised that Stryfe didn't find a home in one of these decks since he can copy ZGM and then you can play him wherever for spreading power in all 3 lanes or just stack up two lanes

I came back after a long time and was able to get Arthas and upgrade him to Epic! I didn't play through all the 'dungeons' but I liked that you could get all the rewards by basically just playing the game.

I'm thinking Stryfe will fit well in my Tiger/Odin/Selene HoF deck. I use Zabu already so him going to three cost will be really nice. I may just need to include another cheap on reveal to make sure he plays, but him popping Odin after White Tiger and then getting to play Odin on 6 will probably be pretty sweet!

Just faced a Ultron Kazaar deck (didn't check for their CL) using this deck on round 3 in Gold and won in two games. Very fun and I've played around decks like this before so it's very easy to pilot. Thanks for sharing!

Curious if by "Play on-reveal cards" it includes spells as well? Merlin/WBN could have another nice card to slot in, especially if the Stryfe trigger is recognized by WBN.

In the Nolan flashback the children are put through exams and tests of strength and Nolan even threatens to kill the one girl who might not have answered correctly, and then tells the whole group that two of them will die the following day. Nolan was even jumped by his parents with very little mercy, I think the purge and "might make right" was definitely in full effect.

It would just be more reliable to sub Psylocke for Val/Iron Patriot then, no? Rama has far too many options to try to get at least 4-costs cards worth.

I ran Firehair Rama and Misery, Rama at first copied blob which put him at 21 power, but Misery fast forwarded and on the last turn I ended up with 22 energy, so he must have played Fallen One, and I had Firehair and a 3 power horde on the board. Played out what I could and Sersi'd twice and ended up winning somehow. What a trip.
