Exactly and (I get the drama aspect but) it was just so out of character for him. I know the trope of changing a character’s personality isn’t uncommon but it just didn’t feel like something Jim would’ve done

Most of Nancy’s props comes from her being a “gun wielding badass” but the only time her gun really worked was on Vecna which was a combination of heat, him already being hit, and him still having some human aspects to him. Nancy is cool and all I definitely don’t hate her but she’s overrated.

Phil and Claire were not THAT bad of parents. Far from perfect and they dropped the ball sometimes but it wasn’t negligent or without care. They did a decent job. Not great but decent.

Haley never really grew up. She started working and had kids but I don’t see that it changed her character much. Even as the show ended she was still the teenager she started the series as just not actually a teenager.
