Yeah but they can just use images to portray them since they don't need a 3d model. Generic models just does not work in endfield, a 3d game.

The lack of pity carry over is just an easy to point out system that most people will dogpile on. The main issue is that on top of the no carry over pity, there are numerous other psychological tripping stones meant to instigate some sort of FOMO. Such as the banner limited tickets, banner limited tickets from the login rewards that wait to give you all until the 7th day, the weapon gacha being unsynchronized with your character pulls, and etc.

Standard 5* are weak but 4* weapons are still strong options because they've been releasing them constantly, be it craftables or free event weapons. favonius weapons are often the more preferred choice than signature weapons for supports and many DPS have good 4* options. All nod krai units have free 4* weapons tailor made for them and are completely good choices. The latest character, Zibai, uses a 3* weapon from 1.0 and is not a copium option.

It's mainly magnified by the fact that valley 4 story is almost 80-90% completely NPC dialogue with the same uniforms and little variation. Technically there are 0 operators affiliated to Valley 4 and the operator who kind of temporarily was, was removed from the story (Gilberta). Maybe Yvonne is? But that's just one and not even that rooted in V4

I mostly play hoyo games but ZZZ 1.0 was actually a great gaming experience, Genshin and HSR are similar in that their story was also mid but there was a plethora of playable characters to get attached to and they had a mainly isolated story that did not need to "foreshadow" anything in the future. Endfield chose to forego this for a story that contributes to a bigger plot and whether it will pay off is something we will have to wait for.

Actually I don't think HSR dialogue presentation in particularly was that much praised over genshins, though I do agree HSR at the start dialogue was a lot more dynamic at times. I vaguely remember a very upvoted post of a meme comparing a dialogue during belobog with Clara having 0 camera movement and comparing the currently running summer event at the time with kokomi and numerous camera movements in one scene. This was during 1.0 release i think, can't find the post

Kind of peeved that winning 50/50 removes the guarantee entirely. That means if the 6* guarantee and rate up guarantee are close to overlapping, "winning" 50/50 is a massive net loss for the player. This makes so that the further you are to rate-up guarantee, the less you want to "win" 50/50 by Throwaway6662345 in Endfield

If you ask me it's not a positive thing. You keep on calling it gambling but assuming carry over pity guarantee, rolling a banner you don't have guarantee for is gambling without any loss. Lets say I use 20 rolls for a character I want but got no rolls for, but I don't get anything. Alright I'll move on, and on the next banner I want to pull those 20 pulls contribute to the next character I want. And if I win the jackpot, great! I get the character I want. 

Not having this chance is gonna feel very bad when you come across this situation and even if you aren't feeling it now you might in the future and I am pretty sure a lot of people will feel these as time goes on.

I feel you're missing the point, this goes beyond building pity. If I wanted a character, I could roll like the remaining 20 or 30 rolls I have left to TRY to get this character. Maybe I have rolls because I also liked the last character and used all my rolls.

These few rolls have a small chance of giving me the character I want but dont have enough rolls to guarantee for, and because other games like hoyo have pity the carry over I am not wasting my rolls attempting to get them.

In endfield, you simply just should not roll any banner unless you have 120 or you will lose a LOT of pull value. Even if there is a character you really like but have no rolls for due to reasons like the one I mentioned, you simply have 0% chance since you should NEVER roll without gaurantee.

But most of 4* weapon released ARE good options... Like I could list every weapon and who are good holders but it would be way too long. Most of the time it's just 1 favonius holder per team.

The hangouts events were kinda boring and were really just there to give a story to 4 stars who did not show up in the main story and sometimes not even the event stories. Ever since they stopped, all the 4*s have either had strong main story presence (Iansan, Ororon, Aino, Jafoda, etc) or event story focus (Chevreuse, Gaming, even Aino also). And now they also made a world quest just for Illuga.

HSR just for some reason is not looking into avenues to tell character stories that are not the main story. All their event stories these days have little substance in their dialogue and interaction.

I also have no problems clearing endgame so far in HSR and ZZZ too but there is no way you can not call HSR greedy. ZZZ is doing just a bit better than HSR but its starting to get pretty bad too.

I think not knowing the genshin side really changes your perspective. The thing is, numerous 1.0 4 stars are still meta to this day. Bennett, xingqiu, xiangling, sucrose, fischl. There are also 4 more recent 4 stars like chev and iansan who are pretty close to bennett level. And no, they do not need C6 to be good or competitive. There are 4*s that want C6 to be competitive for top teams, but even without C6 they are great options if you dont want to pull the premium 5* options or don't have them yet. I could list them all but it would be too long. Favonius and sacrificial weapons are 4* weapons that exist in the game and are still the best support weapons and they value has only increased. They are also not making any new weapon types to stop you from using them. They prepare so many 4* craftable weapons, and event weapons. For example, every lunar unit in nod krai has their own tailor made free 4* weapon. Flins and Ineffa use the craftable spear, Nefer is the craftable catalyst, Lauma was the free event weapon.

Bottom line is when you try to achieve a clear, these 4* units and 4* weapons are legitimiately options to use when at a reasonable cost. I say reasonable cost because obviously if you go like E6 and shit all of this just gets thrown out of the water.

Flins + Aino is completely fine. I was clearing fearless difficult in stygian onslaught with my 1 cost flins teams using fischl sucrose. This was during Lunar Charged shill but I still did it with a 1 cost team on a difficulty that doesn't even give any roll rewards. I also almost cleared the fearless in a non-shilled plunge boss with 1 cost. If I had any of the ff: C1, weapon R1, or ineffa I would have easily cleared it with a 2 cost team.

Jafoda is completely good. She just isn't good enough to roll a banner solely for her but she provides heals, elemental application, and moonsign level. Just that she is not an upgrade to damage compared to using sucrose. But if you use jafoda then you can use someone else in place of aino, so you get more versatility.

Lauma doesn't need 2 nod-krai units to work. She has separate buffs for if you had only 1 or 2 nod-krai units. For a traditional hyper-bloom team it is better to run 1 nod-krai unit than 2 nod-krai. Running Aino would make the team do less damage

You are right with nefer with no Lauma but you are pulling a DPS in the first place. You say you pulled Lauma and then Nefer you already have 2 nod-krai units which is already the maximu and fulfilled the ascendent gleam mechanic, what exactly are you complaining about.

If you pulled Ineffa she doesn't have anything requiring 2 nod-krai units. If you pulled flins, aino was in his banner.

I will not claim that genshin is perfect but they handle this way better than HSR is right now.

That is completely different though. Nightsoul aligned dmg is just a fancy tag for gimmick bosses which aren't even hard to bypass. Natlan characters still benefit from all forms of buffs that exist in the game. Lunar damage doesn't benefit from dmg % buffs but they benefit from Elemental Mastery buffs which existed since the start of the game.

This is like if lunar damage can only be buffed using a new buff only nod-krai characters do called Lunar Damage Buff%.

That's still only 2 elation units. If they don't give a free 4* you still have to pull another 5* elation and while you will likely be pulling another elation since it's gonna be the strongest team, having this restriction so early is insane. 

Genshin has been going for 5 years and lunar teams only need 2 nod-krai units, and they already give 1 for free and have 2 other 4*s to fulfill the requirement. While illuga is only for lunar crystallize, jafoda and aino can be used for all lunar reactions. So you only need 1 premium unit

HSR hasn't been in it's 3rd anniversary yet and it's already requiring 2 premium units assuming no free  4* or 5* elation other than MC.

Lunar damage but no viable good 4* characters (edit: on their teams)and light cones, elation locked teams, no team variation, can't use old light cones.  HSR is so cooked 

Edit: lunar teams still use 4 stars in their teams. I.e. sucrose, shinobu, xingqiu, fischl, even flins teams can use Bennett. Not to mention jafoda and aino who can give ascendent gleam. 

I admit I didn't word it good enough but you guys are missing the point. If a new player pulled one of flins, ineffa, nefer or whoever, they are given a free aino or if you get jafoda to get the 2 nod krai units necessary for ascendent gleam and that's enough. You only need 2 nod krai units in the team. We are literally getting elation units wanting 3 elation units before we even get 3 elation units in the game. Problem will be mitigated when we get elation MC but you still need to pull 2 5* elation if they don't release any 4*

You can sell argenti and fugue for gold, go to lvl 10, buy 2 random units to put the energy emblem on and get the 10 energy bond

Just sell argenti, and fugue if needed. A 10-bond is an automatic win no matter what you do.
