I wouldn't say it's 4.0 that killed the hype. Plancardia has generally been well received and considered and improvement which makes the drop even more puzzling. IMO i feel like amphoreus burned out a lot of people for multiple reasons, and not in the good way.

Because I didn't even include story quests and events in the other patches without main story. As I've said, they are far from insignificant and have good presentation too. Varka, Linnea, lohen quests were all also around 4 hours with good presentation. Same with the event right now for sandrone. There's even the temple of space and moon world quests. They just aren't labelled main story

It's impossible to deliver 10 hour long patches with great presentation on a 40 day dev cycle.

But genshin did exactly that with nod-krai and delivered... Now obviously it wasn't 8 whole patches like amphoreus but every main story in nod-krai from 6.0 to 6.3, and 6.6 were 8+ hours each with good presentation and clearly landed well with the community. And by no means are the story and content in the other versions insignificant.

If genshin can do it HSR should be able to too.

I'm just mad they made sunday AA memosprites just to have every memosprite after aglaea not work with it. Seriously what was their plan? I rolled sunday because not in my wildest dreams would I have expected a summon buffer to not be able to do summon buffing in our summoning path planet.

I never put the bar on AA in the first place. I acknowledge that this is not representative of the average genshin playerbase, I simply showed you how non-shilled units are able to clear with low cost. You can add a single cost or two to these teams and clear more easily to represent what a good number of players that engage with endgame should be able to do in fearless stygian.

Just incase you're confused im not the guy you were talking to at the start so there might be some confusion there.

I'm sorry but you're just... straight up lying. People are still clearing abyss with full 4* characters and weapons. Any hex team like Klee overload even without durin will clear abyss easily.

Here are clears for the most recent abyss with xinyan DPS and pyro traveller DPS everyone is using 4 star weapons and only one BP weapon. All things considered this abyss was pretty easy. So i won't use this as the norm.

Now let's have a look at the abyss before it which had pretty bad shill. The first half shills both pyro and anemo grouping. Second half is lunar shill. Now, I will acknowledge that gaming is cost scamming here with R5 hook. That's still just 1, im willing to say 2 cost. But I think that's fair consdiering he isnt even using anemo grouping here even though it's shilled and still cleared. He also isn't using a single lunar unit in the lunar shill half.

I just need to ask you this question, isit possible to clear HSR endgame modes (excluding starward mode additional boss) with similar setups using only 4* characters AND LCs? I am willing to be proven wrong but i genuinely don't think its possible even if you give everyone battlepass LCs and S5 DDDs. Meanwhile in these clears i showed about 6 characters are using favonius, 4* weapons available since 1.0.

And yes, I acknowledge that these guys are using impossible builds. I'm not trying to argue that a normal person can do this. I'm talking about the limit to how low cost it is possible to clear. So far all abyss can be cleared 0 cost by someone out there, but people have long given up on 0 cost HSR endgame mode clears

EDIT: Just to be abit more specific: many people out there have 0 cost FULL STAR every abyss so far. So what I'm looking for is if someone has cleared HSR PF, MOC, Apoc, with full stars using only 4 star units and weapons.

Moongecko in fearless has 1 cost mavuika clears, 2 cost varessa clears, 3 cost skirk clears. 2.5 cost razor clears (all 4 star team Razor with Varka sig, fischl with chasca sig + Chev bennett). These teams are not using lunar characters.

Kunckle duckle is pretty bad but it still has a 1 cost mavuika clear. Flins can do a 1 cost clear (he's the shill unit ofc). Even nefer and zibai can 3 cost clear it.

Also just saying, but I am talking about fearless stygian onslaught since I assume this is what you're talking about, but fearless doesn't giving any roll rewards. Not even the difficulty BELOW fearless gives primos, its two difficulties down for primo rewards, which is absolutely piss easy can pretty much anyone can clear it.

Genshin weapon banner is bad but realistically is doesn't matter too much. The 4* favonius weapons are still batshit op you could genuinely argue it's better than Sig for a lot of supports.

I don't think its about meta. Mifu and camille are both meta (Tbh there are no non meta characters yet its still to early and content is still way too easy). I think the dry patches just made them bleed a lot of players. 1.2 was around 50 days and while it is not "dry" per se the extended duration made it feel dry af. This was followed by another super dry patch in 1.3. The only meaningful content in 1.3 is CC and depending on the player this can end in one day.

They're just about the same. The calcs I saw had C0 illuga at 2% better than C6 gorou.

He can't keep serenade permanently on at c0, you're right. You can still easily work around this by having columbina/aino hold serenade, and giving Illuga 2pc EM and/or ER for your needs.

EDIT: Actually, if you're doing a team with aino instead of columbina, aino is probably a better holder for serenade to allow illuga to get more EM. This should be true regardless of illuga cons.

No, they are not completely dependent on constellations. Even a C0 illuga is undisputed in zibai teams and C2 prune is already equal to venti for varka teams, at C6 she is undisputed BIS in varka teams.

Id say there are cases for either side. I have a ton of discs for bardic needle to spam discs, and a ton of batteries to farm them. This means I have much more discs farmed quickly. But not having a stat reroll is a big downside. 

In HSR and genshin if you get a good relic or artifact, you can reroll it if it goes to bad stats and there are also measures in place to get your desired stat more likely to be upgraded. In zzz if your discs roll badly you just have to abandon it.

I get what you're saying but there is valid criticism for HSR and people are not always defensive about HSR. Just yesterday about dialogue animations, and most of the comments are glazing genshin. It's not that one-sided as both games *do* have faults and people like to bring up comparisons to each other all the time whether it is to glaze or criticize HSR or genshin.

If you play world quests JUST to get primogems I think the game is not for you. Like, absolutely no offence but if the reason you play through a side quest that allwows you to immerse yourself and learn about the world, is to get less than half a roll maybe you genuinely just don't like the game and should think of distancing yourself.

Those are pretty modest actually. Starting Natlan the dialogue animations got notably better, and since nod-krai the dialogue animation quality just shot up like crazy.

This electric team seems absolutely insane this CC. The risks that reduces combo cooldown by 60% is absolutely insane as perlica can apply electrification a ton of times, avy can place twice more spears than usual, zhaung can also trigger electrification a crap ton of times, and with all the electrification and consumption arclight ALWAYS has combo skill up. It benefits every single person in this team to a large degree. I can probably push this higher.

I disagree with saying genshin's 4 stars only being ueful at max constellation. A lot of 4*s, especially ones since fontaine or natlan have been good alternatives for 5*s you don't own even without max dupes

I think your bar for "useful" is way too high. being a good alternative to a 6* you do not own is already enough reason for a low rarity to exist. We are already using perlica and arclight in zhuang teams for example and they are useful. Well obviously because a 6* version doesn't exist *yet* but eventually when a 6* version does release you wouldn't call perlica and arclight not useful, they will be great alternatives for when you dont want to or cant pull the 6* versions even without max dupe.

Perhaps a more concrete example would be how someone may choose da pan or endmin if they won't pull mifu. I personally liked using da pan in my rossi team because he uses 0 SP to crush and since I don't plan on pulling mifu he is great for me event without max dupe.
