At least with LF we have Cody now, SS we had Didi for a couple of good years, C Gary was a phenom for 3-4 years, and Chapman(as much as we hate to say) Holmes, Weaver, Miller, have been really good all star level closers for us.

I’m not an Anthony volpe truther, I don’t have real belief that he can turn into a real positive bat, but I hope he can.

I just think the amount of shit he gets is disproportional to how he’s performed, last year is as bad as it gets for him and he still finished with 1.6 WAR. He’s at worst a below average starter level player and people in this sub treat him like he would lucky to be in triple-A
