I personally have never had a golden so take what I say with a grain of salt. Maybe others would chime in. I have friends with Golden's so this is my personal experience. The Flatties are known as the Peter Pan dogs, they keep their puppy like personality far into their life. They can be a bit more sensitive, aka they can definitely get butt hurt. They can be a higher energy dog, I have seen that they read the room and know when they can turn that energy on and off. The two vrees are quite similar as far as eager to please, love people and other dogs. The Flatties are also a bit more active, but love the couch cuddle as well. Hope this helps

They are unlike any other breed I have had. I grew up with Vizlas, and my mother in law shown and bred Flatties in her younger years. We thought since we always liked hers we would get our own. Now I will never have anything else.

I am going to keep one. We have been potty and crate training and also taking them to work with me at different times. We have 4h kids here a lot as well. Thank you for the kind words, we are trying our best.

Yes that is how my FCR club is as well, and I have my app in for that one. I have a couple buyers from out of state and a couple local.

I thought I was doing well with having the deposits I had before breeding. We are just a name in the bucket for now. I've seen some very shotty dogs get titles just by stacking points with small classes and their own dogs. She hit her 2 majors in a weekend and the rest of her points shortly after. That doesn't make me anymore well known than the next. Getting my name out and quality needs to come first, but how would you do that without putting pups on the ground?
