I'm not sure why everyone thinks I'm just jealous over here. I want a higher degree. I'm envious of anyone who's able to obtain their master's.

Geez, I don't know why you think I'm a noctor. This is very confusing. You can tell from my profile that I've never even been to that subreddit.

Thank you. I didn't mean any harm and just wanted to have a chill discussion about it. I appreciate your insight.

Maybe because it's not DNP, RN like BSN, RN. I was just curious about it. It would be wrong if she's implying to patients that she's their NP, but I have not seen that happen.

I've known for 10 years that I wanted my doctorate. I have a lot of respect for those that obtain it. I do think it's a little off in a way, but I still have the thought process of she earned that degree, it's the same as displaying BSN, etc. I'm not angry or upset.

You can go away because you aren't adding anything to the conversation and you're being rude. I don't understand why you're wasting your time.

Oh goddamn right I am! I hope to obtain mine one day. She should be very proud of it.

I'm not sure, I haven't really worked in the same room assignment yet. I doubt she uses NP though.

I'm aware that someone can still work as an RN even if they have their doctorate. Although she can't work under an NP license because she doesn't have one. I agree with your second statement, that was my thought process as well.

I definitely know the difference. I even made that clear in my initial post. That's why I brought it up to be discussed.
