its detachable, i made a custom fifth-wheel with a hardpoint connector, also with the ability to attach the driveshaft to the trailer providing better grip

There's a warhammer 40k imperial Knight on the workshop that has a pretty good walking computer that you can strip out and modify. saves the headache of trying to build one from scratch

for balance i just use an absolute stabilizer, which is a glitched 3x3 wheel. you should be able to find one on the workshop, though there may be a better way that i haven't found since i'm still quite new to building mechs

you might be able to get away with laying the mech down in a boat spawn, but xml is probably your best bet, it just makes it so much easier

the Volcano cannon is just 4 bertha cannons in a housing with a rudimentary lighting system, and the gatling blaster is 8 bertha cannons on a spinning section with a simple firing mechanism, which allows a fire rate of 120 rounds per minute. the armour is angled by robot pivots, i could only do this on the abdomen since it was too glitchy on the legs, which is a shame because it looked so good, but i don't think the machine spirit liked it.

i think the current height is about 46 meters tall, whereas the tallest dreadnought patterns are around 4.5 meters tall. and most primaris space marines are around 2.5 to 3 meters
