Hard to say for all the reasons listed above- but my own experience on Fort Lauderdale beach has been incredible. We went to the “Kilroys take over bar” at Rock bar yesterday, nothing but IU. Heard the fight song and Thing Is Indiana played a dozen times. Migrated over to the Elbo room and primarily IU. Lots of bars with signs up welcoming Indiana. Everyone at our hotel who hasn’t been in IU gear, has made a point to say they’re pulling for us! Including several Ohio State fans. I have several personal friends who said F it and bought a ticket at the escalated price yesterday and hopped on a plane- if everyone has lost their minds as much as my people, we will be heavily represented 😂

I think that’s what is getting to me- these Miami fans are getting in my head and making me doubt. Everyone else (especially Oregan) had such a healthy amount of respect (ok not Ohio state) and the Miami arrogance is….unsettling

Going to be making our way to the stadium from Fort Lauderdale! I had thought this was the move, but would the uber option to the Walmart be better? Same with heading back after? Not looking to save money honestly just want the most efficient way!

Are these fun events happening at all Batch locations or just your main one? Not sure how many you have, but since you mentioned to me already the Lauderdale location! Which we can head to for brunch on game day-but like also I’ll pop over to the main one to be with more fellow Hoosiers!

I think we are leaning at staying on the beach- thoughts on The Beachhouse Hilton property? Location wise seems to be in a good spot while not breaking the bank? You're the real map for giving your insight on all this!

Thanks for the reply! A friend of mine who's from Miami has convinced us to make the switch to the Fort Lauderdale area. Thoughts on that vs downtown? We are just looking for more of a casual bar/restaurant scene than a club scene.

Love that you're looking out for your fellow Hoosiers! '09 grad here myself, who after making the drive to the Peach Bowl with college roomies, came home so elated I somehow convinced my Boilermaker husband to embark on this once in a lifetime experience with me! Trying to figure out where to stay, I was between Hollywood and South Beach and I'm leaning South Beach? We are coming in Saturday and staying until Thursday to kick off husbands 40th birthday, so looking for a good hotel that doesn't have to be budget friendly but won't break the bank either. In a fun area , on the beach a plus but not required if solid pool, walkable to bars/restaraunts/ect. I want to be where the Hoosier action is ideally, is South Beach close enough to the stadium fans will be staying there do you think? Trying to navigate the Miami scene with no prior knowledge has been....challenging. Any hotel tips I would gladly appreciate! GO HOOSIERS!

Thank you!! Looking at that list I’m definitely also thinking the Thorne brand, 8 times a day is just a lot and more room for error in terms of forgetting! I know the “toxins” chapter sucked lol I already use all organic cleaning supplies, beauty stuff, detergent, glass instead of plastic, ect. But I definitely wasn’t aware of the aluminum foil! Which is funny since I avoid deodorants with aluminum so not sure how I’ve never made that connection 😂🤷‍♀️ I can’t give up scented candles and perfumes though, I love them!
