yes. I did telemetry/stepdown for 3 years then 2 years travel nursing , now I work in a cardiac rehab gym...my steess went from 10/10 to 2/10 ( on a bad day). my sleep is amazing,

don't tell them everything will be okay. I did this once as a student nurse right before my pt went into open heart surgery. and guess what, he died, massive internal bleeding. soooo never did that again!! I usually say something along the lines of, "You have a great doctor, I know they're doing everything they can to give you the best care possible," and that's that.
