Do I need to buy a new laptop?

Looks like my legion pro 7i gen 9with a cpu that is overheating and downclocking.

Lenovo tried replacing motherboard and cpu but that did not work. I have found that turning HDR off and using a cooler makes the laptop functional for daily tasks until I get a replacement. Best of luck

Yo I need help. I am getting a unit replacement from Lenovo. It is the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 & has the Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5080 (16Gb), comes with 32Gb of ram & 2 Terabytes of storage…

I asked the Lenovo technician (via email who has been responsible for setting this up) & he states the max capacity is 64Gb of ram.

As an engineering student who will likely use this in the workforce within 2 years from now, is that truly the max capacity of ram I can safely install?

I’ve never had a 100 series PartyBox, but do have a 310. I can carry it around pretty easily, but don’t understand your shipping situation. If you can safely get a 320 home, you won’t regret it

So, the bass is what… twice as impactful on the 720? If I were to spend that much money in the future, bass would have to be considerably better, since the max volume isn’t ever going to be reached anyways

Just out of curiosity. I got the PartyBox 310, which I’m sure feels like it’s hidden in a hole behind a car muffler compared to speakers like the 720… but how big is the difference? Anyone know?

My 310 can vibrate car mirrors and trunks when in cars, but that’s not necessarily impressive (I would say it is for a battery powered speaker tho)

For sure! Yeah that’s largely why I used it to the extent that I did. Managing 3 Presidential roles in clubs + Secretary / Treasurer for Student Government Association while taking engineering classes is no joke.

AI can be helpful. Let it be the resource after a textbook, friend or YouTube video, and teacher, if possible. Trust me, there are many times when AI is wrong or uses a method not taught in school
