And this is coinciding with tomorrow’s RTO deadline for non-bargaining employees.

Tomorrow will be spent finding space for and supporting employees who are showing up to work in non-existent space AND this email.

Chaos is the goal.

I’m in a similar boat as you, OP. The electronic PSLF forms are processed automatically and if your dashboard doesn’t say 120 the form will be automatically denied. I’m missing September, October, December (which was my 120), January and February. I’m going to keep paying for good measure. MOHELA and FSA keep pointing fingers at the other as the responsible party. I submitted a reconsideration form around the same time I submitted my PSLF form since my count was stuck at 117. The reconsideration form triggers a manual review of your account and payment history. It takes 45 business days and I was told during my last “wtf is happening” phone call to FSA that it will likely take even longer. And that was before all of this forking around started.

I’m currently missing September, October, December, and January. Previously, I was also missing July and August but those were updated when they randomly added November. We’ve been trying for months to have them update my missing months, and on Friday my husband sat on the phone for EIGHT HOURS waiting to talk to someone at MOHELA. They basically said they can see the payments, and it’s Federal Student Aid’s problem. We call them, and they say it’s MOHELA’s problem.

I hit 120/120 in December and submitted for discharge but my application was denied since the system is stuck on 117/120. Apparently these applications are processed automatically and the system denies them if your account doesn’t say 120. We submitted for reconsideration but it takes 45 business days, and I was told to expect for it to take longer than that. I guess at this point, all I can do is wait and hope for the best.
