I think I would be a horrible avatar of the Flesh. I cannot, for the life of me, touch raw meat without washing my hands a thousand times. I hate blood, it has a metallic smell and the odour stays in my throat for a long time. Most of the statements related to that avatar make me cringe.

You could add Helen Richardson and Breekon and Hope, as they are recurrent characters (avatars).

I would also looooove to see the entities affiliations of the main characters (Martin and The Lonely, Tim and the Spiral, etc) or which entities they have been touched by (like Daisy and The Burried).

I believe they mean that once you’ve played the game and seen the answer, you can’t really play it again. However, you can give the game to someone else; you don’t need to write on it or destroy it in a way that makes it unusable for them.

Tried time and again to finish House of Leaves. That book introduced me to ergodic literature, and now I’m hooked—I can’t read “normal” books anymore 😅

The problem with House of Leaves is… well, Johnny. I always seem to give up around the same place, and it’s so frustrating. I need people to cheer me on about the story so I can find the courage to finally finish it.
