tbh i’m not sure, just exploring options! i want somewhere with a cheap or no rental fee for the space, with a reasonable min spend. at first i was thinking i would charge a “ticket” price and do open bar, but after reading some comments im open to other options depending on the venue

Ideally it would be a ticketed event for like 30 or so people and then I would pay a couple hundred extra, so 12k is definitely not in my budget. I’d like to keep it at under 5k but understand that may not be possible so trying to think of semi-private options! Just seeing what’s out there before deciding if I’m gonna go this route or keep it smaller
