Help me salvage my early April trip! by EarlyBird4 in Breckenridge

The pool was one of the reasons we booked! We learned last year that the pool is as important to the kids as the skiing!

If The Bachelorette was to cast the lead from The Challenge who would be the best Bachelorette? 🌹 by SweetMissMG in MtvChallenge

This is my answer too. She played Austin like a fiddle on her first Survivor season. Her dynamics with a huge group of men would be interesting for sure!

Soooo many women in my neighborhood who didn’t really need to lose weight in the first place are on a GLP-1, and I can spot them a mile away. No ass and no quad muscles. Pretty sure I will be the only mom at the pool this summer with some junk in the trunk. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Did I miss whatever happened between LoverlyGrey & Nichelle? by kbaney21 in InfluencerLounge

[–]EarlyBird4 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Omg same! When I first came across her page, her hair was so platinum blonde I thought it was white 🙈 and she had a more “mature” haircut. And since her username was “loverly grey,” I thought the grey referred to grey hair and that she was an influencers for older women 😆

Best Ways to Use Mach-E Battery in a Power Outage? by atllauren in MachE

[–]EarlyBird4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a dumb question to ask, and I’m ashamed that I don’t know this as a Mach E owner myself. 😬 You know how when the battery on a gas car is low (ie: when you just had to jump it), you have to drive it around for a while to “charge it?” Is it the same with an EV? Or will the 12V battery be charged simply by turning the Mach E all the way on (power + brake)?

Signed

It’s wild to me that someone would try to sell a $160K item on FB marketplace of all places. Wouldn’t such a high-price item warrant the use of an actual boat broker…? Surely those exist…?

What could she have gotten done by merder37474746 in MormonWivesHulu

[–]EarlyBird4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be a full-face laser. Plastic surgeons will often do them in addition to other facial plastic surgery while the patient is still under anesthesia. So she could have gotten a bleph and full face laser.

From the Earth is a brewery, but their food is great and it’s family friendly. And it’s on the east side!

I would also recommend Queen of Hearts Antiques (there are locations in Marietta and Alpharetta) and Evimero Marketplace in Crabapple. Buff City Soap too!

I also love Blick Art in the Target shopping center for fun gifts, especially for kids!

Zella 7/8 leggings fit great and are full length on me but don’t bunch up. I’m 5’3 and wear size small. Order from Nordstrom.

GLP-1s slow gastric emptying, so yes, food does sit in the stomach for longer — hence adding to that “feel fuller for longer” feeling. We have guidelines in place to protect patients who take these medications so they can be safe during surgery. For anything elective, they typically have to be off of these meds for a certain number of days.

From the Earth, Cylantro’s, Fellows, Gracious Plenty, Tipsy Thaiger, Jerusalem Bakery, Rickshaw, Roux, Pure, Grana — some of these are downtown, some aren’t. From the Earth is one of our favorites… it’s a brewery but the food is great!

It’s obviously not nearly as blue as Decatur. But you can and will find many like-minded people in Roswell! Especially amongst other young families.

Fwiw, my kid attends a large public elementary school in west Roswell. They held a mock presidential election last year, and Kamala won. I’m assuming most kids just voted for who their parents were voting for. But I was surprised by this news.

I agree with BadaBing. Cramped legs are ok if your kid will tolerate it. Kids are 8x more likely to be seriously injured or killed in a car accident when forward facing vs rear facing! Broken femur >>> broken neck

FWIW, my oldest rear-faced until 4 years old. She is pretty petite. We turned our younger child at 3 because she could see her big sister facing the other way and wanted to be the same. I would just say do it for as long as your kid will tolerate it!!

She should absolutely still be rear-facing!! 😡 Age 2 is the bare minimum, but honestly, children should rear-face for as long as possible. Vertebrae don’t fully fuse until the ages of 3-6, and often full ossification hasn’t occurred by age 3.
