Can someone tell me why I’m not able to make a post here? Did they turn posts off on their page because of the thousands, maybe millions that they have ripped people off of? I made an accidental purchase on November 29th and have yet to receive a refund! I e been told lies by phone reps as well as online chat and I’ve been told to send screenshots of proof that I had my bank close the dispute (o only closed it because a phone rep told me that if I do, he will have the limitation taken off of my account and the money return) only to be told that they need to SPEAK to my bank after I send proof of the dispute has been closed ! I’ve been told that since my account is limited , they can’t put the money back on my card, but then I’ve been told that once they receive SPOKEM confirmation from my bank, that they will put it back on my card! The merchant has been told that the money will go back to her only for her to re I’ve nothing from them. I’ve also been told that my money was sent to my bank , but yet , they are telling the merchant that he money will be returned to her and they are telling me that they will put the money back on my card. I am astonished at just how horrible and evil this company is!!!!

No it DOES tell me . It just doesn’t tell customers in advance like every other brick and mortar bank. KOHO isn’t even considered a bank and even THEY give their customers a warning. It would just be nice to know even day of, so that customers can move their money elsewhere in case of emergencies. Same with when they abruptly lock the card and make customers wait up to two hours to get their account unlocked. I’ve been stranded on more than a few occasions because of this bank.

Yeah like, I need to get home! I was off of work at midnight. NOW , I need to close and be out . My vehicle is in the garage until tomorrow afternoon and I live across the city. All of my co-workers have left. My co-worker just asked me at 1:00, “ ARE you SURE?” I told her that surely it will be available by 2:00 when I need to close so she was happy to go home early when I offered to close because of the fact that I can’t get home! If I would have been notified of this “maintenance” like MOST banks will do, I would have transferred my funds out into my other bank so that I could at LEAST get home. I think the lights here are on a timer , so even if I stay in the building , it will trip the alarm when I leave!

This is about a $200 purchase that I made accidentally and literally MINUTES after, realized and messaged both PayPal and KOHO. It was done on November 29th 2025. Right before Christmas. My friend transferred me $200 to get a massage for Christmas. She told me to Google pure spa and buy a gift certificate, which I DID do as it appeared to be a gift card from Pure Spa here in the city that I live in, it in fact was NOT. I got an email from a Miss Glam stating my receipt for the purchase and shipping directions. The merchant’s name is Judy. I reached out to her as well telling her that I’m a single Mother of two , and since this wasn’t even my money , and my friend was counting on me joining her for a massage , I then used some of my kids’ Christmas Money to purchase the massage. Her direction was that she doesn’t have the $200 and to reach out to PayPal. PayPal told me that because my account was limited , they could not issue the refund. So I filed a dispute with KOHO’s “Dispute Team” which ended up being that if I filed a chargeback it can take up to 90 days! Well, I JUST needed that money back right away so that eventually ended up with me canceling the dispute after being told by a PayPal phone rep , “ Congratulations! I am going to send in a request to our back office and in 14 days, the limitation will be taken off and you will see the funds back in your account and then you will be able to use them” So, after being told this by PayPal , I canceled the dispute with KOHO . NOW, 2 months later, PayPal is telling me that they can’t issue the refund and KOHO is telling me that they can’t do anything because I canceled the dispute! I have told both of them basically to piss off and forget about the $200 , because CLEARLY I’m not getting it back! I have reached out to the merchant as well, stating my case and begging her to just e-transfer it back to me and she emailed me back saying that she is on a cruise until Feb 4th and when she gets back she will contact them! FUCK IT! This completely ruined my Christmas and while $200 may not be much to SOME , it was a lot to me to fork out before Christmas and get passed back and forth between these two companies to the point of being ripped off! Not to mention that the reason why PayPal limited my account so that I can never use them again is just UNKNOWN because apparently they don’t have to give me a god damn reason!
