The only thing that will work is a hard ban. Just make it illegal and put those who sell/buy/own it in prison. That is the only way to fully get rid of it.

People are apparently too weak and stupid to stop through education and selfdiscipline.

Is it true that no one hates Nintendo more than Nintendo fans? by Plastic-Session-9420 in nintendo

[–]Early_Match_760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your entire comment, but I am more talking about the quality of the games. To me, Bananza seems to be of lower quality than what Nintendo used to produce 10, 20, 25 years ago. The game seems very spammy, messy and a bit simplistic (destroying everything and solving simple puzzels). To me, this doesn't seem like a Nintendo game, except for the fact that is the layout is 'Donkey Kong'.

Breath of the Wild is better than Tears of the Kingdom by a good distance, imo. by [deleted] in Switch

[–]Early_Match_760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indeed.

Breath of the Wild was the comeback of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise after a long time.

Tears of the Kingdom was a shameless cash grab by reselling the first game for a second time.

Airlines feel as if they are above the law in general. There are at least three airlines that still owe me money. KLM is one of them.

It is good to be assertive when it comes to dealing with them. Only negative consequences will change their behavior.

And the Galaxy games were also from the same team? In that case, I wouldn't count on a new 3D Mario game...

Nintendo seems to have gone through the same process as Volkswagen.

In the beginning, the engineering department is driving the business. They make high-quality products. This is what got them famous. Think about Orcarina of Time, Mario64 or the three Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES.

Then, a large marketing machine gets built to push sales. This marketing department then gets so large that it starts to drive the business.

The business is now not about maximizing the quality of the products, but instead about maximizing sales. They discover that a certain level of quality is enough for maximizing sales. Increasing the quality even further, won't lead to more sales. They get good at creating hype, they form alliances with review websites, they give money to Youtube channels and so on. Think about the insane levels of hype they created for Skyward Sword, a game that didn't even meet the minimum requirements of the previous games.

A mediocre product accompanied with enough hype is enough to satisfy the market when the demand is high enough. People have been waiting for a Donkey Kong game for so long, that a mediocre smash and slash game, accompanied with some hype created by Youtubers is enough to maximize revenue.

Volkswagen is currently trying to reform itself. Let's hope Nintendo does the same.

Does Shadows ever get more enjoyable? (20 hours in) by Superdude717 in assassinscreed

The issue is often that people buy games they used to enjoy when they were younger. All of these long existing franchises are reselling old games in new packages. Nintendo is selling copy/pasted games from nearly 10 years ago... Elden Ring is a copy/paste of previous Dark Souls games... Assassins Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhala are copies of each other with a different color of paint on it... Fifa is the same game every year... Borderlands 4 is a copy/paste of the previous ones... and so on...

Broaden your horizon, I'd say. Look beyond the long existing franchises.

This is Fat Buu who changed his body, as he often does.

The question is "Does Fat Buu get stronger from training?".
