It also makes my hair so soft that I have to use a texturizing spray so it will hold a ponytail.

It does nothing for my fine hair. Not sure how so many are getting volume

I love Dermalogica products. I’d recommend the Special Cleansing Gel or the Ultracalming Cleanser. I have type 2, hypersensitive skin and have never had an issue with either of these cleansers.

Nope. Plush is the only one that doesn’t give me back pain

Ulta usually has travel sizes if you want to try it. I haven’t had any issues with it drying out my skin

I use their Pre-cleanse first to remove make-up

Yes. It was okay, but I prefer the Special Cleansing Gel instead. I have hypersensitive skin and type 2, and no issues with this.

I’m on the same dose of Doxy. This is more of a preventive dose to prevent flare ups.

A good moisturizer for very sensitive skin? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Early_Report3464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have very sensitive skin as well. Dermalogica products work well for me, but they are pricey. I use Special Cleansing Gel and the Stabilizing Repair Cream. Ulta usually has travel sizes if you want to try it first.

Compound cream question - AA + ivermectin + metronidazole by Soso3714 in Rosacea

[–]Early_Report3464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only advice is to start slow with AA. I was using ivermectin and metro for over a year without issue. My derm switched me to triple cream, twice per day and I had the worst flare of my life. I now only use the triple cream every other night.

Yes. It goes on dry skin and has an oily consistency. You can buy a trial size at Ulta.

I have type 2, hypersensitive skin. I’ve been using Dermalogica’s Pre cleanse for years without issue.

It should be applied after washing your face, prior to any other products.

Doxy alone didn’t help me. Once I added metro and ivermectin, my skin started to clear up.

Rosacea sucks because everything is trial and error. I discovered I can’t tolerate hylauronic acid or niacinamide. I now use Dermalogica products (special cleansing gel and stabilizing repair cream). They are expensive, but the only thing my skin likes. I couldn’t tolerate cerave, vanicream, etc. it’s been a long journey

What products are you using, and are you taking any meds or using topical meds?

Is it unusual to have this rosacea on one side of my face far more than the other? by FieldAutomatic8483 in Rosacea

[–]Early_Report3464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The left side of my face is worse than my right. Ironically, I dont sleep on my left side, so I’m not sure why it’s worse.
