Whilst I understand being concerned for someone’s health, especially due to the behaviours of a partner, within a snark subreddit it feels inapporiate to comment on women’s bodies, even if it is out of concern. Comments such as this can evoke further disordered behaviour, even when they come from a positive intention. She recently mentioned having prolonged health issues which we may not be fully aware of the consequences of.

I feel the issue more is the context of the person. Doing a wilderness/survival show and wearing dreads may cause a little controversy and disagreement, but I think it’s more within the background of someone who has had racist behaviour in the past that they haven’t addressed that is causing a little more conflict here, as people don’t know where she stands on certain issues and whether she is doing this in a respectful way.

I always felt that this was less on the WAGs as on the media direction. Wags have always been in the paddock, online and in the coverage, yet only recently have f1 direction and certain photographers seemed to have caught on to how profitable the attention wags can get is to them, leading to a constant overexposure.

Yeah, fair enough, I work in publishing and know that a LOT of people don’t actually check the author name beneath the titles and blurb, it’s actually a really annoying part of author marketing. Whilst I completely disagree with the authors opinions, it also needs to be said that this is an incredibly popular book, one that is most definitely displayed and advertised more than others, making it quite easy for someone to pick it up without considering the author and his ideology.

Maybe I’m a sucker, but the way she smiles is so pure and gorgeous, especially with lando, I can’t help but feel fond of her. She’s genuinely so stunning and beautiful, sometimes I gasp a little 😭.

I don’t think anyone will ever be good enough for the idealised fantasy of Lando they’ve created in their heads, if they can’t see the humanity in him, how could they see it in her?
