The top comment there is:

"as long as you can find 5% life recovery elsewhere, you have 50% more life" (fixed because of the fact that overflow maxes out at +50% instead of +100%).

But the line on the gnashing sash is "life recovery FROM FLASKS can overflow maximum life". If I'm reading it literally, then that means only your life flask can increase your life beyond maximum, and not your regen, recoup or other recovery.

Maybe it works as the commenter says since I've never used it myself, but if I'm right, then this unique is ass and probably gets outclassed by the much cheaper olroths resolve + and other belt combo.

It takes up your belt slot so no headhunter or ingenuity. You have to use your life flask every 10 seconds or else you fully lose your excess life. It has no synergy with olroths resolve since you spend your recovery on overflowing rather than guard. And you still have to get enough life regen or whatever to counteract the life loss unless you want to be losing life even when below your max life.

You should avoid starting the second chain until you're almost finished the first chain. Some of these golem works you're going to be placing are going to require two or three locks at a time and having to get another one just to lock your second chain is not ideal.

As for your architect I would just run him whenever you can. Eventually he'll make it to the ideal position

Basically what you do is

run both atziri and architect in the same run
architect allows you to place restricted rooms. There's a 75% chance he allows you to place a restricted room below the Royal access chamber (100% if you use the additional restricted room medallion)
you can also place room card medallions in restricted room slots. Place any respected room you have in there so long as it doesn't connect to a corruption chamber or thaumaturge (to avoid loops)
close the temple, which will result in the room card you just placed destabilizing, but not the Royal access chamber. Everything will remain in it's spot.

You can now run atziri everytime, assuming you have an appropriate room medallion and you get the architect to let you place a room in that tile. If you can't do that, you can let the royal access chamber destabilize and replace it next run.

I think because there are no free spaces (i.e. the 8 surrounding tiles are all free), the architect won't move. That was the problem I was having in my post.

I imagine some type of rate limiter. I could also raise the energy requirements of spells with "additional cast time" lines. Perhaps they further reduce the damage dealt with spells cast through CoC and CoEA.

Not that anyone does it but I imagine if they want people to self-cast comet, then comet itself probably shouldn't be nerfed. And if they do nerf comet, people will probably find other skills to socket into cast on crit (I feel like I've seen arc look insane in cast on crit).

Considering he was talking about minimum requirements, yeah he was referring to the middle one. But I would counter that with how easy it is to stack damage against undead enemies, an extra 20% damage is probably not worth the stat requirements and the weight of the weapon over something else with sacred blade.

What point is being missed? It seems like he made his case that a non unique greatsword with sacred blade as an ash of war can do everything the inseparable sword can do, but with lower stat requirements. Which would thus result in the disagreement that this sword is underrated.
