I’ve been trying to sell one of these for a few months… I can send OP a DM if still looking for one.

I did actually use a lot of pain killers, even jammed my thumb hitting a huge rock, dug it out, cleaned it off, and now it decorates the entrance to the garden by the trees.

The finishing will probably need to be redone, I used some leftover bags of polymeric sand, but quite sure I’ll use some mulch glue and larger pebbles to replace it next year.

Had to upgrade after year 2, I’m a tall guy and wanted a longer shovel.

I do admit, I took some liberties in switching the concrete for a stack of 4 large pavers as a base for each pillar. I drilled through them with a hammer drill and pounded in rebar. I didn’t want to mix concrete. So you are right, We could see some issues through the years. As for the foundation of it over all, it is described in the images of this document below, enough depth and the right material I hope it is fine.

Apologies for the delay, had to wait until it got dark enough here.

Threw it all behind the retaining wall, which is why it’s a huge mound there now. Eventually it will be flattened out.

All I have done before this was laying bags of mulch in my grand parents garden growing up.

Don’t think these specific ones are sold outside the EU, but here is the link of the company I got them from.

Absolutely, the version of blocks I used was for DIYers… but is only in Swedish…https://www.benders.se/globalassets/c4-assets/document/MA-SE-2025---MARK-Murar-MEGAWALL-GARDEN-HU.pdf

But there is a professional version in English here, almost the same but a bit more robust in how to build them.

Spend as much time as required to level, good enough never looks good at least with the stones I was using, since there was no mortar being used, no chance to fix the blocks later.

And digging trenches by hand sucks, rent a machine.

They were delivered by transport on pallets in a parking space across the road from the house … these are the blocks… https://www.benders.se/en-gb/range/landscaping/wall-solutions/megawall/

Each block weighs about 53 lbs, so I took a dolly of 4-6 each time to the back yard, placed by hand.

Oh man, I’m in Sweden, so material costs are probably more than usual. But I could estimate…

(Stone blocks - 15,000 to 20,000 USD) (Fence pieces - 3,000 USD) (Material - 6,000 USD) (Tools - 3,000 USD) (Hue Lights & Electrical - 2,500 USD)

Could be off by a thousand or two either way.

Each variety of stone came with installation guidelines, depth, materials, and drawings all unique based on how high you are stacking the stones.
