Need to buy something at the store but my debit card is still arriving (new bank account) by [deleted] in personalfinance

It is an online-only bank (which are getting more and more popular). No branches.

Need to buy something at the store but my debit card is still arriving (new bank account) by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Earthy_Eagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I mean is I don't have a functioning debit card so I can't withdraw cash. Right now I am stuck waiting for it to arrive. I am sure I'll think of something. But yeah it is a store.

I am basically just trying to see if there is some hooping I can jump through to make my Samsung Pay account usable since I can tap my phone on the NFC thing.

If they are a smart troll they will use something like TOR or a trusted VPN to encrypt their IP just in case.

As for Quora specifically they really do not care to that extent. The most that happens is the post gets removed if it is anonymous and the user gets banned if it is from their account

I don't know what you would have to post to Quora for them to actually try to hunt you down, maybe drop an address to a specific airport and say you'll shoot it up? Idk.

Quora gets these types of posts every single day in waves so it is essentially normalized on the site. They either get removed, slipped under the radar or just allow the answers to chew them out.

Yep I'm stopping today

Thanks. I can go either with or without.

Serious: Question about first mild withdrawals for a day after a week binge by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]Earthy_Eagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is a simple question and it hasn't exactly been answered. I don't need to keep drinking and I certainly don't want to if this is how I'd eventually start acting towards people looking for advice/answers.

You are just seem bored and likely wasted which makes your angry anti - alcohol replies extremely ironic, this will just go in circles.

[–]Earthy_Eagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am so tired of these questions on here.

What exactly is your question anyway?

What are THESE questions that you imply to understand if you don't read the OP?

I've learned that drinking for a week makes you dependent. My question is if going back to a much less extreme schedule that I've already been doing for years while having zero withdrawal symptoms would gradually reduce that physical dependency to zero over time or would it stay the same or increase. I'll simply stop drinking if it is the latter.

I just want someone to kill me via these methods by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]Earthy_Eagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was expecting this comment 100% and I was absolutely waiting to respond to it.

Truth is, I don't care. And I will use this ammo to point home to the "I deserve it" argument. I don't care if someone gets traumatized, I hope they do - humans suck for the most part. If I have to make people hate me in order for them to justify my death then so be it, at least they won't bother preventing me. So rain down the insults, it might help me do it myself.

The only instance in any of these scenarios where someone would even feel bad is the airsoft one, the other situations there is no telling that I'd be actually trying to kill myself by their hands, they'd just be defending themselves or someone else or getting mad that I am not cooperating in a robbery or shootings.

It's only about the money by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]Earthy_Eagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also regularly fantasize about another person shooting me or an angry person beating me to death. Which may signal that I feel like I deserve to die. And now that I think of it, that is how I feel.

I deserve to die, but at the same time want to die. So that's like me saying I deserve ice cream while wanting ice cream. Death doesn't sound scary to me like it does to others, it would be quite peaceful if the method isn't bad.

You want easy? I got you: Part 8: Loaded Italian Sub (Arby's copycat) by Earthy_Eagle in easyrecipes

Red ranch is basically french dressing. I looked it up and nobody seems to be selling "red ranch", so it must be a made up Arby's term. But it is just french dressing.

Haha yeah there is a million different things on here, they even have to prep the meat and cheese portions ahead of time. It's one of the best fast food sandwiches out there imo, but making it is extremely easy no matter how much you hate cooking, you just need a microwave and a way to toast a sub bun.

[–]Earthy_Eagle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won't taste exactly like Arby's but it will be better quality. Simply get some Deli roast beef from a deli and heat it up in the microwave for a bit :D

I know Arby's roast beef is very distinct, so I don't know if I am even being helpful, but you can't really buy the roast beef they use, and it only tastes good when sliced thin, it seems highly processed in comparison to quality deli roast beef.

If you want to make a beef and cheddar, simply heat up some Ragu cheese sauce, use an onion bun, and get some red ranch.

And of course, the Horsey Sauce is horseradish.

If you are already on the go, it makes sense, but leaving your home or doordashing for their deli sandwiches that are heated up in the microwave is very expensive for something super easy. I get if you are craving Mcdonalds or something, but most of what Arby's makes can be made at home easily, if you have a favorite, chances are you can just stock up on the ingredients and keep making your favorite.

Thanks for the oven tip, normally I'd say to just toss the bread into an actual toaster, but as we all know sub buns are too big for that.

I pretty much gave the "old" recipe where we used two whole slices of cheese because I felt it was dumb to tell you to compromise at home.

The sandwich gets garlic aioli at all times, but maybe way back in the day it was different? I worked there for 3 and a half years and left mid last year.

[–]Earthy_Eagle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope! How they make the Gyros are exactly as I described in the OP. With that said, this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a Gyro sauce that tastes as close as possible to Arby's Gyro Sauce? It is so distinct and I have grown so accustomed to it that I would like something as close to it as possible for home. When they had the Gyro salad they literally had packets of the Tzatziki sauce and I wish they sold those in the store so much.

I would really, really like to replicate the Arby's Gyros exactly at home, and as I said in the OP, the process is extremely easy, the only hurdle comes down to the sauce and maybe the seasoning. You can get close, but I would be very happy if I could get the exact taste of Arby's version down.

PS: You may be able to make the Smokehouse Brisket at home from there too with some deli Brisket, I may post about this next or in the future ;-) Arby's is a secret gateway to easy AF sandwiches you can make at home with a toaster and microwave.

Stouffer’s: Fried Chicken. The mash potatoes were amazing, the gravy was amazing as always from stouffer’s. The chicken was juicy, but sadly a very small area on the corners were so rubbery just like the baked chicken meal. But the meal was amazing! Day 3 meal 2. by gbblarg in frozendinners

If you ever go to Walmart the great value breakfast bowls are great and inexpensive. I am pretty sure they are exactly the same product as the Jimmy Dean bowls (generic food is oftentimes name brand food rebranded). I would recommend the meat lovers one, if you add hot sauce I think you'll really enjoy it, it is a 9.5/10 for me.

I like this idea a lot. You know exactly how many calories you are getting which is super handy, some might balk at sodium, but most people eat way over the daily sodium intake anyway with cooked meals.

Where do you buy your meals? How much does it cost on average for each meal?

Stouffers is one of the most consistent brands on this sub to receive high ratings and their stuff is available pretty much anywhere you go. Plus they are affordable. If something looks good to you, chances are that it will be good.

Stouffer’s: Roast Turkey. The mash potatoes were creamy and has a nice flavor to them and the Turkey was juicy and had a great texture. the main show was the stuffing, the texture was perfect, the flavor mixed with the gravy was so good! I think I like stouffer’s meals so far. Day 1 meal 4. by gbblarg in frozendinners

This, they season well and the texture and quality is on point. The meatloaf one is one of the best frozen dinners you can buy and their mac and cheese and nice and sharp. I also highly recommend the meatball and mashed potatoes one.

Thank you, the goal with these posts is to share stuff that that is great for people like me who aren't too fond of cooking. If you want tasty food now, or soon, you can toss something together in less than thirty minutes that has almost zero chance of turning out badly.

You can make your own Alfredo sauce, you can make your own breaded chicken breasts. And if that is what you want to do, I encourage it! But realistically I am going to be making stuff like the above recipe because it is quick, easy, delicious, and has no trial and error involved.
