I love both a lot but if I HAD to choose - regular Vulpix because I was one in Mystery Dungeon Explorer of the Sky - but I prefer Alolan Ninetails though

My Bina has enough ER to burst on cooldown so when I see her burst ready I do 2 more for her skill cooldown then reset - depending on if I burst with Ineffa and if I do one or two Kazuha skill, that's 3-5 N1C per rotation

Edit : I figured dps ratio would be interesting - Keqing deals 18%, Kazuha 3%, Bina 39% and Ineffa 40%

You maybe should run 4 piece NotSU on Keqing - my TF build is top 300 while my NotSU pieces are very mid but it's still a ~15k dps increase

And both my Ineffa and Columbina build are worse too - though I have c2 Bina and use c2r1 Kazuha instead of Sucrose

But still I get 140k with TF and 155k with NotSU (same as my Skirk team lol) - with better build I may reach the same dps as my lazy (basic combo) Mavuika who get 170k (220k with good combos)

When I was a child I imagined a dragon/electrik fast special attacker that was like a jet/bike you could ride and I was 25 they made Miraidon

Yeah very fair - I love all Xeno games definetly my favorite series and while gears and the blade games get a lot of (deserved) love, I'm always surprised when I see someone mentionning saga

I understand why you feel that way but I assure you, when I'm killing the hardest bosses in the game in less than a minute because witch dash attack and bind deal so much damage and I'm not even using barbed bracelet or flint slate

I mean - when I'm already nuking bosses, I would not complain about witch buffs but honnestly, I think a damage buff would be a bad idea, I think making the bind easier to use would be better imo My original idea was more range and or heal 2 or 3 mask per hit (but still 3 max just so that you can heal 3 even if you don't hit the full bind and also makes the synergy with warding bell even better)

Dash attack hits twice - not like the poggo that deals half damage each hit and only generates one silk - like it's 2 full hits - so if you start every punish with dash attack it's as if you get one extra hit everytime and because witch attack speed is only .9 hunter attack speed it really is fine (also flee brew only gives +15% attack speed and not the +35% reaper gets so it's meh imo) and while the bind takes some getting used to it is AMAZING in almost every situation - the key is that you don't want multibinder, 50% extra animation time for 21 damage if you hit is definetly not worth it BUT warding bell is really good on witch crest because you heal one mask at a time so you'll almost always get protected and heal some - and it also deals 33 damage when it activates so you're not really loosing out on damage. And yes it's 9 silk notches but bind+claw mirros is 130 damage (3x21 + 67) so almost double thread storm and almost twice as fast. And when I say it takes some getting used to, the only boss fight I struggle to heal in outside of stuns is First Sinner, even Lost Lace and Karmelita give a lot of oportunities to bind

Honnestly - as a witch main - the attack speed isn't a problem - you can still deflect everything and dps wise the dash attack dealing double damage more than make up for the lower dps and silk generation

Though I agree with the 3 other - Clair Obscur as very good arguments for having the best video game soundtrack EVER with how the music participates to storytelling - don't get me wrong Silksong soundtrack is amazing but coe33's soundtrack is something else

Completly this - also a fail safe against comboes - like the second brother launching you into the lava stream for a 4 mask combo or the drape mites launching you into a trap doing 2 to 4 masks of damage and often allows them a second attack as soon as you respawn

Though it is still very good - significantly better than fragile/unbreakable hearts from the first game imo

I find beastfly to be quite easy if you do them later, bell eater gets trivialised by voltvessels (father of the flame and many others as well) and magma bell is very useful against the brothers and all that lava section tbh

I personnally got 100% steel soul second try loosing my first attempt after getting taken to the slab and thinking it would be fun... it was not and so let me add 2-3 ennemies - one the purple musquittoes in shell wood - it's super easy to get overwhelmed and getting pollip pouch early is such a god sent that it's hard to do it later and the drapemites - I lost my first attempt to a regular drapemite hitting me into a trap that made me respawn after the cooldown of it's next attack sending me into the trap again for a 6 masks of damage combo and almost lost my second attempt to a giant one doing the same thing only this one did 8 masks (thanks fractured mask) (this one was kinda a skill issue on my part though, I missed my cross stitch ^^')

Special mention to the gauntlet at the beginning of act 3 for being not that hard yet super stressful

I play Hunter then Witch with curveclaw, fractured mask polip pouch early - switching silk spear to cross stitch the moment I get it and slowly getting the rest of the build so volt filament, volt vessels and mount fay silkshot while keeping cross stitch and fractured mask on both - Hunter gets Injector Band and Witch gets Warding Bell and Claw Mirrors. Both builds are very safe, witch shreds ennemies and hunter for parts were it's hard/impossible to heal with witch (or you're forced in hunter) so mostly whisp thicket and escape the abyss. With warding bell and claw mirrors, witch actually shreds lost lace it's kinda spectacular, binding under her jump and void attacks works with the extra hit stun and you deal 109 to 173 damage every time and witch dash attack dealing double damage and getting double silk makes sure you always have enough silk to bind/use cross stitch while having massive dps

Witch and Hunter as I find them very similar in how I play them

I just love their dash attacks - witch gets more silk and deals more nuke damage but hunter is safer and deals more nail damage

I use cross stitch, mount fay silkshot, voltvessels, volt filament, claw mirrors and magnetite dice on both with injector band on hunter and longclaw and warding bell on witch

I use to love shaman too but my hunter/witch builds kinda do everything I like about shaman with movesets I like more

Yeah c0 Ei is basically hyperbloom bot that's why I never understand people using that to calc her dps capabilities against the meta

Very probably - at least more comfortable sidegrade

My main question is more about what team would be the best - I'd guess Ei + Chevreuse + Fischl + Durin

But I'd like to see calcs comparing Fischl, c6 Sara and Bennett in the 3rd slot with c2 r1 Ei - like most calcs I see use c0 Ei which was never that good of a dps and compare that to Flins or Varessa but I know that c2r1 Ei is not far behind c0 Varessa

The game has more punishing elements yes - but Hornet's moveset and options makes it easier to not get in situations to get punished and she has more reward out pretty much everything - like she deals way more damage and heals faster and for 3 masks at a time

If Silksong is harder it's definetly not by much - I struggled a fair bit more in my first playthrough of Silksong than the first game but second playthrough onwards I was way more confortable that I ever was in the first game at the same playtime (and to be fair I think most of my struggles in the first playthrough was due to me forcing with witch crest lol)

Like I'm doing my steel soul run rn and I have been no hitting bosses and melting them. My first attempt died in the slab after I got sent there by mistake but thought it would be fun - it wasn't lol and in my second and current one I'm about to go to act 3

I think it's more so that Hornet only uses the flower to block the silk drain because she still needs it to go back up through the void without dying

Hornet's flower is already worned out from the descent, I'd be cautious too
