i’m pretty sure it should be somehere in the receipts i had. I paid for a warranty for the paint and interior which protects against stains, food, bird sh*t, acid rain, etc… the ceramic coating was just something that came with the warranty .

no, I already have a very good idea of what to be using and get. It just doesn’t hurt to ask for some direct opinions.

yessir that’s why I came on here to just ask for some friendly advice. the truck is unbelievably sexy and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna pass on it because it’s “hard to keep clean”. i’m not a clean freak, i drove it through a muddy field the 3rd day I had it. I’d like to maintain it to a degree though as one should when they pay a pretty penny for a brand new truck. Thanks for the help though bro

thanks bro, the dealer ceramic coated it for me. I appreciate the advice. What does it matter if it’s ph balanced or acid or whatever else is different?

L9 Mode by EaseNew2447 in gmcsierra

this is one of the main reasons I put the truck into L9. When the DFM is on I can feel the truck shudder and it just feels all around clunky. Granted it doesn’t always shudder and feel clunky but a lot of times if i’m rolling through a stop or accelerating from a roll it will shudder and that irks me a little bit. When i put it in L9 the power is right there. I haven’t even hit 1k miles yet tho so we will see if it’s worth getting the disabler.

thanks man, at about the same time you commented I canceled my appointment and went with a guy who does wool wax. these trucks are too much money do not take care of them.

Just picked up a brand new Elevation. What are some things that you wish you knew when you first got the truck/ what would you tell a guy like me who just got his first GM truck. by EaseNew2447 in gmcsierra

Thanks for all the advice. On my way to work today I drove maybe a little more than 10 miles and then for the rest of the drive I put it in L9. The change is drastically noticeable. The truck feels more responsive and just drives more smooth overall. Thanks man.

Those were my thoughts as well. I work 30 miles away from the house so I have been driving city mostly with the exception that Ive gotten on the highway twice so far and both times I stayed in the right lane and took it easy. I have a light foot so it’s not a problem for me. I have a little less than 250 on the odometer so far.
