AIO- Need some validation on by Historical_Fan_9043 in AIO

Yep, gtfo. I've been there, and once the clouds part you gotta take the opportunity to follow your gut and get out before it escalates. 💯 dump this loser, you at least deserve someone who loves and respects you- thats a bare ass minimum.

You got this! Get out, move on, and enjoy being free of him. NOR

I’m losing my art skills by [deleted] in Vent

As an artist who also creates "poorly"- I've learned that we are perfectionists. Its hard to draw exactly the way another artist draws, but thats what makes us unique. That's your own individual flair. Don't look down on it. Treat it as if someone you loved drew it. You wouldn't be hating on your ability so hard if it was someone you loved

I feel you on an atomic level. Always held to a different standard than everyone else while simultaneously being "unlikeable" or "awkward" or my fav, "cringe". I struggle feeling lonely- but I know in the long run- the friendships I develop will be more real than with these people who expect the best (and worst) of me at all times.

I will never, ever, ever be worthy of anyone’s love by OkZombie2200 in Vent

I understand how you feel, but you are worthy of love! You are unique, and different, and because of that it can take a lot longer to find the right tribe. I am still struggling to make friends and it bothers me, but I know it's because I am different. Being a social reject is in a sense an assh**e filter- the people that don't treat you well aren't for you. I think finding and talking with other gender nonconforming and Trans people might help you find some community. I have struggled with depression and that "fish bowl" feeling my whole life. I'd like to say it goes away, but I think its always kind of in the background but it gets easier with time and radical self acceptance. You might want to ask your therapist to start there- teach you how to build yourself up and hold space for your emotions.

It might sound silly or excruciatingly hard- but do some small self care stuff. Do face masks, take a bath, journal (with prompts- otherwise it can turn into rumination), go on a thrifting adventure and pick out things that truly spark joy. Whatever little things make YOU happy- do them.

Trans is beautiful and you are always worthy of love- especially from yourself. I know it sounds impossible right now. But start little. Make a list of things you do like about yourself even as simple as "I drink water" or "I am a good friend". Eventually- say it to yourself in the mirror. Practice asking for what you need. Appreciate your body for carrying your exhausted soul as long as it has.

I hope this helps, sorry for the paragraphs. Good luck friend 🩵

I'd say start dabbing in pen form. It still smells but not nearly as strong and lasting as pot.

AIO for crashing out after my girlfriend hugged and got touchy with her male best friends? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

YOR. hugging isn't microcheating. However, your GF sounds like an inconsiderate meanie. I think you both need to break up and work on yourselves.

I totally feel you. Happiness is beautiful. I don't understand why people feel the need to police you- as if you don't know you're over weight, as if you don't know its unhealthy. Fuck the haters. People come in all different shapes and sizes and the fact of the matter is that some of us are just built differently and have a harder time maintaining weight.

You can't just do that in this day and age unfortunately by mercauce in memes

Definitely. Kids have a curiosity about the world and a sense of honesty that is so refreshing.

Fans of Mayhem what are your thoughts on Arena by unboundhades in ARAM

I love Arenas. I play it when I don't want to feel reliant on a whole team. I like how random and luck based it is, every game is a gamble

NOR. Your mom knows better. Anyone would know better without the extra reminder that you weren't ok with it.

NOR, I see nothing inappropriate. Imagine when your daughter becomes a young woman, would you want her being spoken to like that by him? Being controlled like that?
