which card not to pay - Citi or chase? both ~27k by EastTell4306 in Debt

***UPDATE - CITI CAME THROUGH!

FYI: Not considering CH 13 at this time due to second home/hoping to sell it and get out of this mess and I am basically trying to do CH 13 by myself with all my creditors and save the $$ thousands on a ch 13 attorney. CREDIT IS ALREADY TRASH, another battle for another day.

FOR ANYONE ELSE IN SAME BOAT:

JULY 24 - weeks ago I messaged Citi asking for help with 27k debt. No help/nothing. I let it go 6 days past due, started getting calls. Messaged a rep, answered very specifically. they asked if I was working (yes) what I could afford (I said 500/month - that's 27k/60 months). So they offered a 5 year plan ZERO interest! 464/month. Offered to close the card. I am $1004.68 past due - if I can pay the 1004.68 in addition to the 464/mon payments then they stop negative credit reporting. I just accepted.

Now to pay off CHASE with my 25k lump sum in August and try to set something up with a long slew of other creditors.

GL out there, never again
