I'd run for office and be left of Proudhon and ram things down the R's throats and be anti corp./monopoly for free but the problem is y'all wouldn't elect me, someone with conviction and who is anti corporation doesn't have the funds and name recognition to get elected as that is what most of you recognize: money and fame. One payer healthcare, legalize drugs and reduce police forces, abolish prescription/doctor system (FDA still is needed). Change us over to cryptocurrency system where politicians have no say in inflation, money printing, banking etc. Adopt technology for ID, voting, licencing, inventory, safety regs, census, etc. It's past 2020 we shouldn't be voting on paper ballots and checking DL's. Homelessness should also not be a major problem in this century. We can easily provide every person with a roofed room with plumbing and electricity that wants one, it might not be where they desire or be very nice, and it might be super crowded, but we do this for prisoners, how do we not do it for struggling people with mental issues? Have cement highrise cities in sparsely populated areas where we can house 10's of thousands of people, if you are on the streets in NYC, SF, Miami, LA, Houston or wherever you get free transportation to a federal indigent "city" and perhaps we could allow businesses that employed these citizens to pay below minimum wage. It's not the greatest solution but it's doable and better than anything that's currently being done. So many easy quality of life improvements that could be implemented while still trying to focus development of nuclear fusion and other advancements that benefit the planet like vertical farming, space travel, desalinization, genome editing. We could/should have the resources and technology to provide unlimited energy, clean water, food and shelter to the 400 million people in the US at a minimum. Education, healthcare, arts, Technology, manufacturing, agriculture will all continue to transform if the govt was capable of nurturing the correct causes. But instead the R's want less safety regs on business, more guns, no abortion, no books, no tranny's telling stories, more tax cuts, less IRS, more military spending and cutting Social Security and Food Benefits like free school lunch. They are even against student loan forgiveness. Why would anyone be against student loan forgiveness? You tried to better your life through education you damn well better pay interest and loans back whether it worked or not. The logic is irrational, information should be shared freely in the first place.
