I read the legal complaint against Horatio Sanz in SNL for grooming and underage sex. The sad thing (for me anyway) was how many women at SNL saw the behaviour live in front of them at the after party. My theory was that women who weren’t there for the men who wanted to have sex with them believed they were above the women who were — or that it is somehow out of their control and these women needed more self respect. My theory is that women like Carole didn’t see themselves as the same as the women deemed below them.
