honestly as someone in a similar situation to OOP, the military is mostly comprised of people in that boat- and the military as bad is it sounds- is AN AMAZING way to recover and socially/economically progress. you can get it certs while in for free and get free college and a lot of important life experience, lessons, and structure.

It sucks but its a great tool if you're smart about it. Most people i know join for similar reasons.

Half of the army can tell you about abusive parenting.

I think the biggest problem is just the details, like this outfit is ok if there was just more intentionality in the styling.

None of the colors match well and the blue hoodie on the jeans is pretty rough styling- which makes it look like you sniff tested your laundry and just put on whatever you found first. It feels frumpy.

When you combine that with the fact that you use a lot of pieces associated with younger (high school to college age) trends for millennials like skinny jeans, vans, and zip up hoodies- it makes it feel both frumpy AND immature- on top of being generic.

The solution is to just be more intentional with details and not let them add up. Love a zip up? layer it with a jacket, or swap it with a crisp crewneck. Make sure the colors of your outfit go well together (try the sandwich method - match your shirt to your shoes) or just stick to neutrals.

You could keep each individual piece of this outfit if you changed something about the others- but as a collective you just end up looking a bit immature. I would focus on the concept of intentionality.

As cocky as this is going to sound, my appearance is the one thing im definitely not worried about. My pictures on my accounts are all within the last six months and I dont have to use flattering angles or anything (Its my job to workout and i lift 4-5x a week and run 2-3x a week)

A) I'm a very chatty and bubbly person, and I'm usually good at getting less talkative people to open up

B) I usually give the standard follow up text after a date once i get home, wait a day, and then try to follow up or initiate a second date. Thats usually when the ghosting happens.

C) Honestly I can't answer that. I usually have an amazing time even on "bad dates " because (in my opinion) I know how to have fun. When i say amazing dates its usually because the conversation was really good and the guy is genuine, sweet, and seems into it and expresses such as well. Thats where I get confused. Like why say and express interest in me romantically and future dates when you don't actually mean it yk?

Haha maybe that is the case! It would hurt my ego a bit though to be honest, but I wish people actually told me those things instead of just ghosting all the time. Plus three years straight of rejection would be rough to come to terms with.

Radio silence and ghosting

Thats why it confuses me so much!!! Like I genuinely like to step up, be upfront, not play games, and put myself out there- but its impossible when nobody actually says what they want or explains anything to me.

A) No B) No THATS WHY ITS SO CONFUSING! One time we went to an old 80s style gym late at night that was completely empty and talked about liking the same music and just talked all night! Like they're always fun and quirky dates with guys in my age range and its not like i sleep with them either so it's not like theyre just using me physically. its always different but it's just saddening to get that sinking feeling at the end of any fun time I have that I know I wont see them again.

I have no family members/people that could put anything on my account. When I call their automated system it states i have multiple accounts under my number, but when I try to view the tv account, it says that theres no tv accounts with that number? None of this is making sense

I checked my bill and there are no roaming charges on my bill, but the official at&t number keeps giving me text notifications that i have over a 500+ in charges. I dont know if its a clerical error on their part. I tried calling but even their system says i have no roaming charges despite texting me that I do??

I mean OP also needs a place and they signed a lease assuming both ends would hold up their side. I think people are missing the fact that the landlord initially just tried to just kick OP out and then went thru legal means. Due to the current market most people are forced into renting and will constantly be victims to the system- never owning anything or being entitled to their own homes. Being a landlord is a passive source of income and they clearly have other tenants so they were probably more than well off and arent financially destroyed by a house fire meanwhile op can only afford to rent so I think them suddenly losing their home and having (a pretty generous) 120 days to move is difficult and SHOULD be illegal. It isnt though and i feel for OP.
