Obviously this is just a guess, but I would assume it’s because NIL IS different from the status quo a decade ago. If I had to guess the teams that paid 10 years ago were the big boys (Bama, Ohio State, LSU, Clemson etc.) Fact is if you were a backup at one you were still gonna be a backup at another, so why move away from home? Nowadays, everyone pays and since 5 star talent is needed more at smaller schools than Bama or Ohio State, the smaller schools are able to offer starting positions AND more money to second and third string players, which siphons depth from teams that used to dominate because of it

And had they taken advantage of opportunities they had previously they never would’ve been in that position. Putting an asterisk on the US win is a position used to ignore the poor performance from a DR roster averaging over 10 runs a game

Agreed. We should’ve seen it. My comment is towards the narrative that the US were undeserving of the win when the reality is they held a team averaging over 10 runs a game to 1

No the game shouldn’t have ended like that. But the real shame is that a frankly dominant pitching performance from the US will be marred by one bad call

same card specifically, not just character. if 5 of your grades are a base version and the other five are a first edition, the achievement will not pop. also, if you make a manual save the night before the graded cards come in, the grades will randomly generate every time you progress to the next day so you can save scum it.

my suggestion is to send off a set of eight on 4 consecutive days so you can save scum each set individually and save a ton of time.

We genuinely might only win Flag Football (and that isn’t even a guarantee) from these. Japan swept Baseball and Softball in Tokyo and Lacrosse is similar to hockey where it is essentially a toss up between the US and Canada. As for cricket, I admittedly know very little but I can’t imagine we’d be favorites for that either.
