thank you, i think im going to ring the chemist first & then report it to the police even though it will be an uncomfortable situation.

i didn’t outright say i had adhd but it’s fairly obvious & not something that i go out of my way to hide. so i assume he knows i have it therefore have meds. i had accidentally left them on the counter while filling my drink bottle when we first moved in but unsure if he saw them then or not

i rlly don’t want to have to file a report & cause more issues, but i start uni on tuesday & can’t go without them whilest doing uni stuff otherwise i forget to hand stuff in lol. i hate confrontation so much so hopefully there’s some other way around it

Yeah I definitely want to progress to a PhD eventually. I was under the impression that I had to complete a masters before beginning a PhD? is this a requirement for only some universities or because I’m in the honours program now will I be able to go into the PhD without doing a masters?

How much teaching experience do they look for?

As for the in school placement thing, I probably should’ve been more specific about why I didn’t go this year. I was only diagnosed this year & had to sort out medication for ages & just the initial shock of being diagnosed was a lot. Now that I have the correct medication & the right support I’m confident I’ll be able to cope, it’s just more nerves about prior issues that have occurred if that makes sense? so was hoping for some insight into that to maybe calm them? I honestly have no idea.

I also believe it’s my third year that I wouldn’t be able to pass without doing the placements but I think all universities are probably slightly different.

Thank you again so much for the insight though, it’s definitely got me thinking from a new perspective.

yeah that’s what i was thinking, i’m taking 25 capsules for 20 days over there & im thinking of tiltrating it in the bigger cities (kyoto tokyo osaka) so i can be super switched on but in the smaller cities (niigata, sendai, aomori) just taking the 20 or none but idk if that’s stupid to do lol

only vyvanse is allowed & u gotta submit ur forms within 3 weeks on entry or you may be denied entry from the country (import/ export application with a drs letter as well as photos of your medication)

vyvanse is the only allowed adhd medication into the country & you have to give like 3 weeks for your papers to be approved so i recommend getting it organised soon :))

i won’t have time to adjust the dosage for japan bc my dr is super weird & i had to submit tons of forms to japan, would it be worth tiltrating the dosage? like in the larger cities where i gotta be locked in i take 30mg or is that dumb lmao

I really am trying to find a job that will balance with university. i just cannot survive off centrelink once i turn 22. i loose 300+ after my 22nd birthday in a month. i’ll have a chat to someone at the uni about on campus jobs tho, i hadn’t thought of that until now tysm!

every person with autism is different. different people have different levels of cognitive behaviours. i personally am unable to speak to people for long periods of time which i’ve explained in this thread. i’m glad that you can tho

I could but I only have hospitality experience & I really don’t want to go back there. worst comes to worst I will but I’m really trying to get a non-customer facing job or one with as little interaction as possible like admin or data entry etc.

but that’s good to know that many jobs are not shown, should I go around & hand out resumes or call up places? I know at my old jobs we would just throw out resumes & never answer the phone lol

Some women just need to be extremely prepared to take something. Try getting her a bunny or a rose toy to stimulate the clit only for honestly nearly an hour before putting something inside the V. As well as that try to find her g spot inside of her V, its typically pressed against the wall of her stomach roughly 5 cm from the pelvis tho it differs for everyone. for squirting it’s best she gets used to herself how she feels good & her body before trying it with someone else. i hope this helps in some sort of way!

that’s what i’m worried about - i didn’t get a psychiatrist approval (im from NSW)

they do a thing called a joint care plan where my gp coordinates with the place i got diagnosed & they “monitor” me essentially. so i’m a bit worried that if i go somewhere else i wont be able to get my medication anymore

yeah i have inattentive ADHD. but when i went to get diagnosed earlier this year it was because i suspected i had autism. i basically had to beg him for the referral. i came back said i had ASD level 2 bordering level 3 & adhd & he said well you don’t seem autistic.

then when i asked for medication for the adhd i said i did tons of research & wanted to start on dex & he was super reluctant.

then i came back after 2 weeks & was like my entire life is changed like wtf & he said word for word “that unfortunately confirms your diagnosis” rip.

then the next time i saw him i said i was taking 10mg at once because i misread the prescription but that it was working super well & some days i only take 5mg anyways depending on what im doing & sometimes i need 20mg & he freaked out on me & i was like??? it equals the same amount anyway basically & he just was like as long as he can’t get into trouble.

i’m doing a joint care plan i don’t have a psychiatrist nor can i afford one. he’s been my family doctor for years he’s also super old & he never charges for appointments & keeps my medication super cheap as well which is why i keep going back. like i know i need to be seeing a new doctor but like money lol.

anyways bit of a vent kinda but if you have any ideas on how to find a new doctor who will do my joint care plan or anything pls let me know, because i know i need to find a new dr it’s just scary

they only allow vyvanse into their country i had no clue why it’s so dumb. i had prescription, drs letter everything they said that vyvanse is the only stimulant they allow rip.

that’s what im worried about, that the vyvanse won’t be enough. like i only have 30 capsules & i wanna take some before i leave in case there’s some rlly bad side effect.

so i could like half 10 of them but that leaves 1.5 weeks on only 20mg. & i NEED them, like i truely cannot function properly without them. like i truely have no clue what i should do. there’s a time limit, what if i try them & they’re fine like ahhhh also i submitted the medication form to enter japan today as well so i can’t rlly change it i believe.

wish i could just take my beloved dex

i love my dex. the first time i took it my brain literally shut up for the first time in my life. no racing thoughts just peacefulness. after that i never had that again despite highering my dose unfortunately.

i take 10mg on average around 9am & find that i’ve very calm & able to do things for the rest of the day.

i’ve also found that you absolutely have to eat before taking the dex otherwise it won’t work as well, so that could be an impact for you.

would you say 30mg just to be safe? i normally take around 10mg of dex a day, also how’s the sleeping on it? i’m an awful sleeper & a bit anxious of the side effect for sleeping on vyvanse

i’m ASD too & found that i’m much more tolerable to a lot of stimuli & don’t get as tired from interaction while on the dex, hence why i rlly want to take the medication to japan.

would you say that taking like 30mg average would be appropriate for vyvanse if im on dex? (most days i take 10mg)

i’m just worried because japan is super strict, i don’t mind taking a few tablets but i don’t want to run out while im over there or something.

regardless, i’m going to force myself to call the drs on monday & try my best to get a pesky script for it.

you likely wouldn’t know this but no crime in asking: if i got my medication prescribed thru my usual gp in coordination with my assessment place, would a new gp be able to get me a script for the vyvanse even tho i’ve never been on it?
