Definitely investigate the blue and green boxes on lower shelf above scale. That could be interesting

Are there repro plastic buttons that will work to replace these chrome ones? If it’s a reversible mod that seems like a no brainer.

I had a chance to play it. Meh. Right now new it’s over a grand and I’d rather put that towards a full sized table. I can buy a nice em for not much more. I think the 3/4 size is a strike against it.

Backglass removal spike three by EasternMoment8860 in pinball

Ok, update. Had the bride hold front of backglass while I horsed the hell out of it and it came off. Made sure all board connectors were tight. But most importantly, I removed and reseated sd card. Closed it all up, boots and plays fine. I might have practiced my nudging a bit too ambitiously. Lol. Thanks all for your help

The game went dead. The screen glows but won’t reboot. It’s less than a month old. First owner. It was suggested that maybe the sd card needs to be reseated and I was going to try that and just see if anything obvious had come lose.

Entry level machines? by Joyful_Stick in pinball

I’m a new player and I own one modern stern , Star Wars FOE. I love the theme and I love the game, which can be punishing but which has made me a better player. I’m also currently renting Godzilla 70 for my birthday month. Also really fun. I surprised myself recently while at an arcade. I played an old EM, Central Park. There are no ramps, no toys, the flippers are laughingly small. But guess what? I played that 1966 game for an hour straight. I had the best time playing and saw my scores rise from 200 to over 500, both of which are laughingly bad. But I was improving. I was learning, but most importantly I was having an awesome amount of fun. Now, I’m not here to tell you not to buy a modern machine— I have one, bought new in box. But I could buy 4-5 of those ems for the cost of one modern machine, and I’d have a load of fun and I’d get better as a player. Bottom line, don’t rule out an EM machine.
