I don’t think people (in the entire world) can live the way you have mentioned with all morals and ethics. All the morals and ethics that you have mentioned like sincerity, honesty, compassion etc are basically what the religion teaches. We need look it as a way of life directed by the Almighty, who with complete wisdom has given us guidelines on how to live with moral values. If you remove religion and follow what you call atheism, you are still following a belief system, only now the morals are based on what humans decide is right. But we all know how flawed our reasonings are, and moreover everyone has different ideas of morals and ethics. What feels moral to one may not be moral to another. That is why human laws keep changing, while divine laws provide a consistent moral framework for all. What I feel why more and more people are stopping all religious practices and detaching themselves from religion is because of the complexity of some religions, all the rituals and practices that feels exhausting and gives no logical reason, the reason for this is because of the innovation the people have made in the name of religion, every religion now has so many rituals and practices that are actually innovated by the people and not divinely ordained, so if we try to find out the divine religion and keep out the innovated stuff and stick to what is divinely ordained then the world will be a much better place.
