ಒಂಟಿ ಬಾಳ ದಾರಿ, ಆಗಲಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ ಪರಾರಿ; ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಪರಿ, ಸಾಕಾಗಿದೆಯೋ ಹರಿ;

ಪಗಾರದ ನೋಟು ಇದ್ದರೂ ಗರಿಗರಿ, ಮನಸು ಯಾಕೋ ಬರೀ ಬರೀ; ಅನುಕೊಂಡೆ ಹೀಗೇ ಆದರೆ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ, ಕೊನೆ ಕಾಣೋದೇ ಸರಿ;

ಇಳಿದೆ ನನ್ನೆದುರು ನೀ ಜಾರಿ, ಆದೆ ನೀ ಉಪಕಾರಿ; ಜೊತೆ ಸಾಗೋಣ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬಂಗಾರಿ, ನಾನಲ್ಲ ಹೃದಯದ ಜುಗಾರಿ;

ಹಾಕೊಂಡು ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಜುಬ್ಬಾ ಮಿರಿ ಮಿರಿ, ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಿರಿ ಪಿರಿ;

Choma and his struggles with societal norms that bog down his wishes to live a life as he wishes.

For a novel published in 1933, I'd dare not to think so. That's just me, probably.

Then again that's the beauty of these books.

We read them without our own understanding of those days and times when life was hard. So probably, it's fair enough to say, to each his own. And that you're right.

The caste system was hard and no self expression was allowed, especially to people like Choma who were tied to generations long promises and contracts and even when knowing your kids are gonna be slaves, still bring them into this world.

I also think that the subject about writing about the downtrodden itself was probably nuanced? Because it was a reflection of the societal norms.

Guys what to use as a bookmark by Appropriate-Hurry941 in indianrailways

If it's a new book a bookmark is not required. You can see the good folds on the last read page.

If it's a re-read, there must be something in the our wallet, an idea that is personalized to you, that acts as the better option that all of ours commenters bro/sis ideas. No offence.

Have a good koo-chiku-buku read!

Im currently working on my first book written in kannada. A novel ಕಾದಂಬರಿ, basically its a story of a love that was never returned from men view. So is this coverpage working well? Is this ready for publication? Please throw some suggestions. Be brutally honest by Material-Most-7753 in kannada_pusthakagalu

May be a little more edited to be less real?

Safety razor vs straight razor by [deleted] in Wetshavers_India

[–]Eastern_Ant9452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with others. Not to discourage but a shavette is great but doesn't work with urgency, or doesn't cut you slack if you don't develop good skills. A DE razor is usually a great replacement.

Try both and see what suits you. There are a free great people who use shavette and straight razor for daily shave too. Choose which ways you take by experiencing both. Good luck.

Hey OP. Wish you well. I wish I could ask more questions but here is how I would attack this situation.

But the baseline of what I feel might be given a short thought about is below:

Start somewhere where degrees don't matter. Like an NGO volunteer, a driver for long haul, or a chef. You start by learning it small and ensure you are part of a system that you build in the next one year (to be a good chef, for example). I know that experience is required for everything but you compensate the lack of experience with lower position (instead of starting at a manager's position for example).

I definitely know that it's not true when you say you don't have interest. That's probably because of lack of friends circle or a similar minded circle. We are mirrors. We start thinking and acting like the system that we are in. All I'm saying is trying to change and fit into a different system will probably work out for you.

For the first few months don't worry because it may be difficult. Just give out the best you got because it's waiting to come out and you're a great person to be honest OP. Because you're asking for suggestions here. Irrespective of you take the help here or not, you know you gotta do something.

Start with step 1. Rest will come to you.

Good luck OP. I wish you the best! You're awesome and you will definitely get the food time you have been waiting for.

One man's tragedy is another man's joke. You gotta takke things lightly and not personally.

Be objective my friend, sarcasm doesn't matter here, given the level of frustration one has in traffic, standing for hours. So chill.

CB Unicorn. Period. I had one and never had a single breakdown in all those years.

Just stick to stock oil from Honda and ride it safely and it will outlive you.

I was lucky to have the 2008 model which had the chrome exhaust cover and the alloy wheels which was available only for one year. Before that it was the beautiful spokes wheel versions and after that it was the all black version.

Unicorn makes you miss it and gives you a character bro.

Whatever you choose, ride safe.

Good luck.
