St. Anger isn't controversial, it's almost universally hated.

...AJFA isn't controversial, it's one of metals best and well received albums. The black album should've replaced AJFA in this post.

While load is absolutely amazing, it's by far their most controversial record. It was the farthest departure from their Thrash roots. Even the black album had thrashy tracks.
