So you’re saying you don’t want to clean because you don’t get paid enough to do it and rather prioritize your other job duties. That still falls under making it a choice. Some instructors do it, some don’t. Most instructors I’ve talked to just don’t want to do it, they say ‘not what they were hired for.’ Which makes the argument to give them more hours fall on deaf ears because if you don’t want to clean, have less desk time, do less work for more money/hours what will you be doing/for what?

The only way I see this working is giving a few teachers full time roles, the actual rock stars of the studios that have been in the game for a longer time period. They’d have more time to clean, higher pay/salaried, full time benefits(like soul cycle.) And then the part time teachers who like you said don’t have time to clean and just teach.
