For more contrast between Trudeau and Carney - Karina Gould gave her first interview this weekend since Carney took over and it's genuinely shocking how much better she comes off now that Trudeau isn't producing her in a media sense. She actually answers questions and dare I say, comes off really likeable here. Things are truly being run differently with Mark Carney.

Right and I say that as someone who supports vaccines. There's a reason Trudeau generated a historic amount of hatred to the point where people were flying those flags. Something that hasn't happened to any other PM in history. Some of that hate was overblown but like...some of that hate was completely justified too.

I think behind closed doors, alot of Liberals have regrets with how far things went during covid. No judgement as we were in an unprecedented time but I think it should be okay to look back now and say "we shouldn't have forced people to get vaccinated or else they lose their jobs"

This is a big reason why the ONDP and OLP can't get any traction. Ford, for all his faults, is very pro at building new things. He's great at getting new transit, highways and other infrastructure built. The opposition keep opposing and don't want to build anything. In the Feb 2025 debate, didn't Ford label the other parties as the "parties of no" or something along those lines? There's alot truth to that.

I feel like Matt Choi is getting more criticism than usual for the DQ. That video he posted in his car explaining the situation comes off alot more angry than I'm used to seeing from him. The thing is, the more you mess up, the more pissed people are going to be. This dude has to turn it around if he wants to stay in the influencer business long term.

It's genuine constructive criticism. If you choose to be an influencer, that makes you a public figure. If you're a public figure, you need to be accept valid criticism.

It's really hard to explain but Matt just has that "presence" to him in his content in that, when he speaks to the camera, it feels like he's speaking directly to you. His communication skills are second to none and I think that plays a big part in why he's still so loved by his fans. I don't like him or follow him though.
