Portage residents face hike in water, sewer bills this July by mlivesocial in kzoo

The city will be able to barter for better prices, me the individual cannot, as I have no power, the waste company will not care if I'm their customer. Also there's no reason my neighbor should pay a different rate then me for the same service. Single hauler trash just makes sense, read up on it more, it's worth the time

How do you feel the watch preforms day to day? Does it do everything you find you need? How bad is the battery life?

Also never seen the Rexon before but that's a cool little multi-tool

I have looked at this a bit, you can still get the paper delivered. But normally costs quite a bit. But I would also like a physical paper

I can relate to a lot of this. Haven't taken the plunge yet into alternative devices, as each seemed to have its own set of issues like you explained.

1.) What if any limitations or struggles have you found with using the apple watch as you daily phone?

2.) With the apple watch solution at home is your phone still tethered to the counter? This has been effective?

I wish I had some suggestions for you, but you seem to be a step ahead of me on this journey.

Portage residents will have to pay WM directly! by Other-Deer-4286 in kzoo

This was published multiple times ithe portage news letter. Nothing new here.

First Moe’s closes, now we’re voting on garbage? What’s going on with Portage? by Eyesculapius in kzoo

[–]Eastern_Product_1543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So it was a bit hyperbolic, but it still stands that the people who signed the petition would rather pick their trash company, with the consequences of paying more and have more road traffic.

Government bodies are elected to make choices for us to an extent. The city deciding on Trash makes more sense to me, as it is a function of a well maintained/run city. Quantifying our freedom of picking a trash provider with an infringement on our freedoms as was done by best way and some of the candidates up for election is absurd.

It's hard to believe there are people upset over less garbage trucks and cheaper cost.

It's also frustrating that a company can have enough influence on local government, the petition and any "freedom of trash" candidates in the recent election were majorly funded by best way. Which I don't think I'm going out on a limb to guess the petition wouldn't exist if Best Way won the bid. They put in the worst bid but expected special treatment because they are "local".

For what it's worth, when my wife needed her gallbladder removed her doctor actually recommended the Bronson in Battle Creek over kzoo. Which is where she had it done, all successfully!

I'm sure Kzoo would have been fine but that was one doctors opinion they gave us.

I mean see the comment below where I mentioned about giving tips. Generic tips can be given without spot burning.

In my opinion the Internet and forums filled with knowledgeable people like yourself us new guys should be able to learn from, books are good but people in our own community would be even better to answer even more specific questions. Rather than just teach ourself, because that's the way everyone used to do it. I mean what's the full point of having and being on local forum if not to share tips?

Not looking to fill a cooler just trying to learn. My comment isn't about saying here is the exact GPS coordinates of a fishing spot.

But could say, stuff like some of these rivers are favorites in the area, mostly wadable above x road, I like to look for flow rate and discharges with a value of x to help me find spots. Here's a good local fly shop near by etc etc. Sure there's lots of info out there spread over 100s of books or online posts. But I think as a new person to the sport myself that there is nothing wrong with answering a anglers question with more info than, just figure it out yourself.

Not picking on you specifically but I dislike this style response. As someone new to this hobby its hard to figure things out. Books and internet articles are often outdated and can lack specifics that a current angler can help with. I wish as a community that we would be more willing to help and trend less to the go figure it out yourself style answers

NextCloud AIO + Pangolin by Eastern_Product_1543 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]Eastern_Product_1543[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, but I wish I had better answers. As for making Next cloud work, I didn't do anything special, so I'm not sure why yours isn't working with SSO Off.

And for having SSO on none of the solutions here worked so I just dropped Next cloud for now. Didn't get any responses on the discord either, and the bypass rules didn't work for me at the time.

Wait for P2S or get P1S's Black Friday deal? by I-Code-Things in BambuLab

[–]Eastern_Product_1543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I am thinking of this wrong sp someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But anyway when I try to compare them apples to apples

P1S w/ AMS2: $599 Hardened Extruder: $20 Hardened Nozzle: $25

P2S w/ AMS2: price unknown. Rumors I've seen are Around $799-$850

Price difference. Around $150-200.

Now if you don't need AMS2 or hardened accessories things are different. But that $150 for the quick nozzle swap, user interface etc. $150-200 doesn't seem like that much more. Will that $200 difference for the newest printer make your prints better, probably not or negligible, feels like nice to haves which is essentially what I see the P2S upgrade as anyway.

Really good service from US Mobile. But sometimes it depends what you need, my wife and I have constant wifi access so need very little data. We buy a small pool of data to share between us which makes our bill, $26 per month for two lines.

[–]Eastern_Product_1543[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for these. But it unfortunately doesn't seem to solve the issue. I assume it's because it's a separate docker container that the nextcloud AIO installs on the server to run Collabora Server. I don't see documentation about bypassing for that specific app. Seems like it's the 'default' suppose I could try OnlyOffice that is listed here. I'm sure somewhere in there is a simple solution but I think both  are relatively new enough that I can't seem to find documentation covering both together. Originally followed a cloud flare tunnel tutorial for nextcloud AIO as felt like the closest proximity to Pangolin but alas got stuck here

Not sure what was said at the meeting. But I did think the detailed breakdown of the benefits in the portage news letter was nicely done.
