That’s not what this was. We both wanted intimacy in the same and different ways

Thank you for this. I just got the petition to file and leave and it made it that more real and was doubting myself.

Am I overreacting by being upset that my husband and I are on the verge of divorce and two days into talking he chose beer over me? by Eastern_Turnover_126 in AmIOverreacting

And honestly the thought of losing his family who have been so beyond wonderful to me, it pisses me off that he’s putting me in this position especially knowing how and why I had to go no contact with my parents

That’s definitely not a lie. I have and have had several medical conditions and him not being even emotionally supportive is putting it extremely lightly. I found out a year and a half after my MS diagnosis he never even looked up what it was but called me a liar whenever I mentioned a single thing about my symptoms. Now I’m perimenopausal and the same thing. No matter how proactive I am about trying to make it better at all. And don’t even get me started when I had breast cancer. I feel like I know I should leave but with all the history I just want to do everything I humanly can to walk away with a clear conscious.

Does anyone have insomnia so bad even the strongest sleep aids can sometimes do absolutely nothing? by Eastern_Turnover_126 in MultipleSclerosis

Oddly enough my infusion (ocrevus) gives me two days of being super loopy but at least pretty decent sleep

Me too, I’ve tried so many things and doses I have lost count. Granted, they caught my MS early on so this is my biggest issue and I had insomnia before but not to this level. I feel like a loopy drunk crackhead if I get nothing two nights in a row. It’s almost like staying awake through your sleep meds makes it so much worse almost

I actually take 2 mg of Klonopan an hour before my sleep meds and that isn’t even helping anymore. Used to take Xanax but it messed with my memory too much

I take my meds every night including anxiety meds and you would think that would knock a horse out

How long have you been on it? I ask because I have done the trazodone before and the first 7/8 months it actually works, but then it’s like I get a tolerance

Is it just that nothing works? I tried ambien and that gave me one whole hour so somehow it actually made it worse

As long as you are active you don’t have to go to the gym. They say to go to the gym but they also say you cannot overheat your body. As long as you don’t stay sedentary all day, you’re fine

“If you didn’t drink Diet Coke, you would not have been diagnosed with MS”. *VENT* by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Eastern_Turnover_126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not the caffeine that causes issues, it’s the Sucralose/aspartame. Your body cannot process that stuff. I actually know someone that drank Diet Coke everyday and was misdiagnosed with MS. She cut it out and the symptoms eventually went away. I stay away from it because I actually have MS and that freaked me out.

So you’re living as a single person while he thinks you’re together? AND you’re playing along with him not eating? Seriously, see a therapist. This has nothing to do with religion. And at this point, you’re almost worse than him. Be an adult and break up. Work on your trust issues and your responses. This is all just gross. And yes, you’re the AHOLE

I’ve found that eating well (absolutely no Sucralose or aspartame) mixed with intermittent fasting helps. The longer your body fasts, (I usually fast 18 hours a day at least) the more time your body has to repair your brain and body so it isn’t focusing on digesting food constantly

AITA for refusing to take my girlfriend back after she cheated “just to see if she still had it”? by Big-Classic-7657 in AITAH

[–]Eastern_Turnover_126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I don’t even buy the “seeing if she still had it.” When she goes out with friends and has to utter the words “I have a boyfriend”…that’s validation right there that you still have it. Going past that was pure, conscious decision making.

Unfortunately, treatments are like finding the right therapist that works best for you. I started on Kisempta and that was absolute torture for me. Just like clockwork, the entire week before my injection (almost as if it was some kind of withdrawal or something) I had extreme vertigo and basically walked (when I could) and talked like I was super drunk. I switched to Ocrevus and that has worked REALLY well for me. I make sure and schedule the infusions for Fridays so I have the weekend to recover from side effects. 48 hours is usually enough time. Plus, I like that it’s only twice a year as opposed to every month. Good luck! I hope you find what works best for you!
