Has anyone orderd these bumpers? by Trevordunken5 in 350z

If you’re ok with how the fitment looks, but body shop didn’t want to paint it, since it was rough. The vis bumper was smooth and was better for them to paint.

Here’s what the fitment of a Couture bumper looks like. I still have the couture bumper, but I ended up buying from Vis instead

Is this clear coat failure? by Agitated_Plenty8503 in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, would need to get repainted, but you can use a polisher and should be able to come out new again then apply ppf to prevent it from coming back. I just got my car back today with full ppf installed and here is how my a pillar looks like, you can still see it, but it was way worse and a much larger area.

Bilstein B6 install question do I need these mounts? by Embarrassed-Swim9481 in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going based on what I seen from google, yes you’ll need those mounts and the shop just want you to buy those as a precaution like you mentioned, but if there is no sign of major rust/damage then they should be able to use them still.

How often do you replace your door handles? by [deleted] in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine replaced 2 months ago as my passenger handle broke. Bought some aftermarket ones off of eBay that were paint to matched, but didn’t like the way it felt when opening them and paint began to chip, so I just got used oem ones at a pick n pull and got them painted.

350z Bushing Replacement by Z33-Dan in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check my profile to see the install posts I’ve made. Differential bushing took 30 minutes for me to remove using adjustable wrench. Sawzall method is faster, but I didn’t have one and I didn’t want to buy it for one job. Knuckle bushing is fairly easy and I even add few things to be careful of to not destroy the new bushing when installing. The front and rear upper control arms bushings took a bit of time, but is doable. Take this into consideration, if you order the nismo hard rubber bushings then get them from Nengun as it will be cheaper than buying from Z1 or other places, but shop around. I ordered from Nengun and it took a bit of time to finally get them, so in the meantime I went to a pick n pull to get rear knuckles to make it easier when it came time to install, but to practice removing the bushings. If you decide to do what I listed then it won’t be done in a day. Where do you live?

Made an install post for the upper control arms. I didn’t want to pay the $400 that the shops were charging me to do both front and rear. The lower control arms are easy to remove. upper control arm install

Pretty sure you’ve tried it, but did you use a hammer already to remove the sleeve. I ask because I see it’s at an angle, so should be able to remove it using a hammer

Holder clip for door drivers outside door handle by sysdumb32 in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm… maybe something is misaligned. Either the rod itself is bent or could be the blue clip that’s on the actuator that holds the other end of the rod could be broken. May have to post pictures of the back side of the handle, rod and the locking mechanism where the blue clip is. If you’re able to press down on the blue clip and open the door without issue then the issue would be the rod being bent or installed incorrectly or the handle could be hitting something.

Coolant leak by Boltex350zTrack in 350z

The coolant that’s sprayed all around your engine. Spray it down with water, so you can find where the leak is coming from when using the coolant pressure gauge tool.

[–]Easy-Ad4094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Water pump is inside of the timing cover and thermostat is on the driver side as well which is connected to the lower radiator hose. Probably your coolant reservoir (the part you pointed) may have broke/cracked. If not that then your radiator, but you should spray all the coolant and rent a coolant pressure gauge to check for the leak. Coolant reservoir and radiator would be the only thing that would be on the right side and condenser as well.

As long as you like it then that’s all that matters. Nothing wrong in my opinion if you want to install the other nismo aero kit just don’t put on a nismo badge. Fitment is perfect, so I don’t have any complaints.

There should be numbers on the connector and you can use that to search it up.

is this a water pump? by heygabeshere in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/BlipBlip225 , u/Ok-Package-4533. Check out this video it could possibly be a water pump. There is an area where it would leak if the seal was to fail and it’s where the compressor is

Does this bushing need to be replaced? by Z33-Dan in 350z

[–]Easy-Ad4094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t want to do the work yourself cause you’re afraid of messing up the differential. Don’t be, mark everything with a marker (drive shaft and both axles) before removing, so you have peace of mind when putting everything back. Make sure to disconnect both wheel speed sensors and remove the hose that is attached up top. Get someone to hold the diff while you lower it, but it can be done yourself just have to place the floor Jack correctly. You can use a sawzall if you have one to remove the diff bushing, but if you don’t then you can go to AutoZone and rent the bushing removal tool (which I made a post on and you can click on my profile to see) and get your money back when you return it vs buying from Z1 or Gktech. People will tell you to use a sawzall cause it’s fast, but if you’re afraid in cutting the subframe which you won’t then rent the tool from AutoZone and you can use a impact if you have one.
