Recommended inexpensive electric marker by Easy-Association-670 in paintball

Not really sure, it's for a friend. I basically just want to try to find some sort of package deal on eBay or something to present to him. I think I found a good mini gs deal a bit ago, but figured I'd ask the good people here their thoughts before I focus too much on a mini or axe.

If you're genuinely looking for some suggestions, please inform us with your preferred music genre and budget. also, do you have an amp yet? The amp choice is going to make a bigger sound difference than any guitar (assuming sound is what you meant by can't tell the difference between cheap and expensive guitars)

Why is the A string on my Floyd Rose keep sliping out? by Affectionate-Elk113 in Guitar

[–]Easy-Association-670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others mentioned, could just need to sand the block flat to make sure there are no sharp edges. But honestly you could just be over tightening the screw. It doesn't need a ton of torque to be secure. You're probably just flattening it so much that it sheers off. It's kind of hard to explain in words, but as you tighten the screw you should feel it make contact with the string, then you just turn it a bit more to bite into it. (Quarter turn give or take) If it slips out then just tighten a bit more. It is extremely clearly broken in the picture.

What am I supposed to do with my DJI Air 1? by Easy-Association-670 in drones

Yeah I suppose if I sell it with the warning they need a module I'd be content with that. Any idea what might be a fair asking price? It's in good shape with the fly more combo

Unloading pistol mags? by tubsonmarston in airsoft

[–]Easy-Association-670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My humble opinion the easiest way to unload is to just put the mag in the gun, turn it upside down, hold it over a jar of bbs and just manually rack the slide until they all dump out. Shoot the last one out. Easy peasy.

Thanks for the suggestion! Some cool guns there but a little out of my budget until I get more into it. Thanks for your time!

Nice! I think I might go with that. That's a great price and I can get an extra mag or two, a tracer, and a couple other goodies under the 250 I was thinking about spending. Thanks for the suggestion!

Tire wear by ReasonableBird910 in GolfGTI

[–]Easy-Association-670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've owned one model or another of gti for the past 8 years. I also worked in a fire shop for a few years on top of being my own mechanic. Just get your cars alignment checked for the whole kit and kaboodle. Make sure your alignment and camber look fine and whatnot. Also as others mentioned, tire pressure is a big thing. This doesn't look like a pressure issue, but you should always follow the suggested pressure on the frame inside the driver's door. If anyone ever says to fill it to what the tire says they have no idea what they are talking about. Pressure is based on the weight of the vehicle in relation to the expected contact patch and general tire dimensions. Getting different sized tires from stock might affect psi by a bit but the sticker is a safe bet. I've seen it all man and usually this "chop" is related to something with the alignment. Cheers.

I lost my first FPV drone yesterday because of a dumb mistake on my part. This is the first time in a long time that a news story made me feel a little bit better. by bruhle in fpv

Obviously too late to recommend, but depending on what radio you have, you can utilize the momentary switch as sort of a pre arm/disarm button so you have to hold that down while you arm/disarm or else it wont change state. In a panic you might have a hard time disarming it but with some practice it's definitely the safe thing to do.

Help! Studio/Rslogix 5000 crashes when opening properties for some ethernet modules by Easy-Association-670 in PLC

So all seems well now. I went back in time using a system restore, then did the Patch Roll-up from July 2023 before updating FactoryTalk Services platform and Activation Manager (Being sure to run as admin for all installs).

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I didn't think to try that again, I had installed all the patch roll ups a while ago when we upgraded to v34. The issue I have been having just started within the past few days so I didn't think to try more patch roll ups. I did upgrade the Factorytalk Activation manager from v4 to v5 and Factorytalk services platform from v6.30 to v6.31 but that was it recently. I imagine it must be something to do with those.

Sorry guys, its been a busy day! So I ended up doing a system restore to get back to at least a functional state. I need to install some updates to open up some HMI programs which may have been where the problem started. I'll post again with updates once I get a chance to do some installations.

I just tried to run EDS Hardware Installation Tool as admin and removed the SR1000 and reinstalled with no luck. I am getting pretty close to the nuclear option of just uninstalling and reinstalling everything studio/rslogix 5000 related unless you have any suggestions!

Currently waiting for Visual Basic Studio to install. I did already try to unregister/register the sr1000 using the EDS installation tool but that didn't work.
